MFI Fast Casual vs. Fast Food

MFI has a restriction in bold red on each shop stating that two Fast Food shops may not be done on the same day for the same meal period (e.g. you can't do a McDowell's at the beginning of the lunch period then go to the next McDowell's a couple of miles away to hit it well within the same period). Does this also apply to Fast Casual, meaning I couldn't do McDowell's then a Fast Casual shop, or two Fast Casual shops in the same meal period? Thanks!

(See "Coming to America" for the McDowell's reference) :-)

I recognized the McDowell's reference immediately--Florida's husband. In my area, some are closely located and could be done in the same time period. I've never tried mixing ff and fast casual at the same meal period and am also curious if it's allowed.
I don't know about the fast casual, but you can do 2 of the drivein shops in a meal period.
To prevent errors in mixing up reports that may be caused by doing multiple shops on the same day, you may only shop a maximum of 4 shops (regardless of project) per day. Two (2) fast food shops may NOT be done during the same meal period. Please keep this in mind when you accept and schedule shops. Thank you.

This indicates that you can't do that (two shops in the same meal period). Why do you say that is allowable, your own experience, what you were told, etc?
I would not risk doing 2 meal shops for any MSP during the same meal period of the same day, even if the visits were hours apart with a report submitted before doing the second one. That just seems to be asking for trouble.

On the other hand I would not be terribly concerned (except for the calories) about doing an early lunch for one company and a very late lunch for another company at different locations.
Just got an official response from MFI, thanks but two shops in the same meal period is a NO GO and grounds for invalidation of both.
I was told by a scheduler that I could do theses and I have done them. They are the shops you drive in and eat in the car.
Only with expressed permission, when deadlines loom, can more than one shop be done in the same meal period. These have been rare for me, and I have been called asking for assistance.
That's kind of what I figured when I made the request. I'm sure had I asked at the END of October I would've gotten a different answer :-)
Thinking more about it after posting, I felt pretty sure it would be a no-no--now we have the official word. Thanks.
Keep in mind the shops Mawmaw are referring to usually have a different meal period, instead of lunch or dinner their period usually runs from 11am-8pm. Therefore it would be much less of an issue to do several of these in the same day compared to the ones you have a 2 hours window to do the drive thru and inside.
