Hi Nancy! You have reached a shopper forum where we are shoppers, not a company that offers shops. In some parts of the country Walmart is shopped by employee shoppers last I heard. In most of the country Walmart is not shopped at all. There are shops offered from time to time of the businesses that rent space in Walmart such as the fast food places, the banks, the tax preparers and sometimes the photo or jewelry areas. I have seen a few grocery shops as competitor shops at the Supercenters. But overall Walmart is generally not shopped.
NANCY... start signing up for all the companies on the shopping lists and you will fall into some pretty great companies. As for who shops who we are not allowed to say in violation of the contracts.
i, Ida, welcome to the forum. This is a forum of mystery shoppers who meet here online to share our mystery shopping and life experiences. To find jobs in your area, you need to sign up with companies.

To become a mystery shopper takes a lot of work. Below - the blue link at the bottom of the page - is a list of companies, Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies. You must go to each company's website and apply to be a mystery shopper. You will fill out an application and provide your personal information and your social security number. Some may have tests for you to take or ask for a writing sample. They will require that you sign a confidentiality agreement before they disclose their clients to you. After you are accepted by each company, you will be able to check that company's job board to see if there are jobs in your area and you can apply for them. Here in the New Mystery Shopper Area. there is a lot of good information about how to run and grow your mystery shopping business in the New Mystery Shopper area of the forum. You need to settle in and read as much as you can. Welcome and good luck!
Flash you are wrong. I had found a MSC that was giving out jobs for Walmart. They wanted to check compliance with age requirements (games and tobacco). But since I am a Walmart employee, to be fair I got rid of that company from my favorites...I don't even recall the name sorry.

But I did a job at Walmart for another MSC, where me being a Walmart employee was not a conflict. The client was Sony and wanted to check how the brand was represented in some electronic stores (Walmart is not the only location interested in these kind of jobs).

Hi Char,

Something important to remember-- when Flash responded to the OP, it was February of this year. At that time, she was probably correct. I know that Flash has been shopping for many years and from what I've seen, she's pretty much been in the know about such things. =)

You can take stock of when posts are made in each thread by looking at the lower left-hand corner of each response. As you can see, Flash's response is more than six months old. =)

Hope that helps!
Walmart is not the client for the electronics shops, the vendor would be in that case. I'm not sure who would order the age compliance shops. Usually when shops are offered at multiple retailers, the individual stores are not the client.

Thanx Jenn...I forgot to check the post date, my bad...I usually do not do it sad smiley

Lisa, I know the electronic job was Sony the client. I mentioned it to say that the OP can find Walmart jobs in different ways.
As per age compliance I am not sure about the client. It was age compliance for video games. I do not have kids that age anymore so I did not check. But I would think it was more Walmart than one of those big names that makes games.

Hi, SETWANA66, welcome to the forum. To find jobs, go to the blue link at the bottom of the page, Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies. You will apply with each of the companies you select at their online website, providing your SS# and personal information, and they will require you to sign a confidentiality agreement. Some may ask you for a writing sample or have tests for you to take. Once you are accepted by a company as a mystery shopper, you will be able to search their job board to see if they have jobs in your area. The more companies you sign up with, the more chances you will have of finding jobs.
