TRAILER CHECKS?

Yes me again with questions lol

I recently signed up with a company that has jobs for "trailer checks" from what I read these are movies at the theater. But I am not quiet understanding what it is I am to do there? I can not see full details unless I accept the job.
Has anyone done these and maybe can help me understand?

It varies by the company what is involved. With some apparently you are just heading into the theater a bit before the stated 'show time' and seeing what trailers are presented, how the audience responds and the quality of sound and video. You then move on to another auditorium to do the same thing. For other companies you are doing a number of observations around the theater and getting into your seat by the time the trailers start to note what is presented, evaluate the sound and video quality, cleanliness of the auditorium and can sit and enjoy the movie with the snack you had to purchase at the concession stand to evaluate them.
I think the way they word it is really confusing me lol

I'll have to go back and re-read again to understand it

But thanks that helps shed some light smiling smiley
My guess is that the company and the trailer checks for them have been discussed on the forum before. You may want to use the "Search" feature with the company name and 'trailer checks' over the past year to see what the discussion has been. The discussions sometimes get a little hot because there are shoppers who are only looking to do trailer checks and only interested in finding out who does them. There is a whole lot more to shopping than that, though it obviously can be a singular focus. smiling smiley
Oh ok thanks smiling smiley

I do variety of mystery shopping if the pay is worth it with time and gas that goes into it.
I have some trailer checks and haven't done them because I'm really confused by what they mean. For instance mine says you are free to go to any showing, but then says that you need to check all the screens the particular film is showing on. So would that mean you have to be there for every single showing that day? It wouldn't make much sense because of their earlier statement "you can go to any showing you'd like", but there is no way you can see all the screens at once! But the ones I've seen are open and you bring a note to the manager.
Call the scheduler and ask. What I have understood from other folks is that if movie A is showing on 3 screens and you go to the 7PM show, you check that auditorium as well as the other 2 auditoriums showing the film. Usually the start times are staggered so you would probably be able to get everything you needed in auditorium 1 before needing to move on to auditorium 2 and ultimately to auditorium 3.
I have done trailer checks and ad checks. They pay OK but usually require someone to go on a Friday or Saturday Evening. I live close to a theater, so sometimes it works out for me to go. ;-)

I was going to do this, but then find out that there are several hr difference between each screens. I either have to stay for hrs at the movie, or go home and return later. It is not economical if I have to drive back and forth from home.
