Thought I was doing good - then came here. Disney, Casino, hotels, vacation shops?! HOW?!

I've been doing mystery shopping for the past 6 or so months (I'm slightly disabled so I like that I can work on my schedule, feels like I'm accomplishing something and the money is nice). It's been mostly food places (which I love) and retail stores. I originally searched Google for Disney World shops because I'm going there in May and would love to do a shop there (especially for one of their restaurants!) so my first question is how do I find any Disney shops (downtown Disney would be good too). But by coming here I had more questions raised. I see people have gotta go to high end hotels and cruises! None of the places I'm signed up for seem to offer that, unless I'm not looking in the right areas. What companies can I get some travel from?

I think you have to be registered with a company for a long time and have a history of lessor shops with them before you get offered the high end shops. However, I've never done high-end shops because I never like to have to extend more money than I can afford to lose if I screw up and don't get paid, so I can't say for sure.

Yes, try Coyle. They have high end restaurants, hotels, and cruises. Be aware their reports are quite demanding. Additionally, they ask shoppers to prove themselves at less demanding phone call and restaurant shops before being awarded the hotel and cruise shops.

You can also look at Jobslinger or Prestomobile.

Speaking of Coyle, the March email came out tonight and i went to see what was available and it looks like they have maybe 12 hotel jobs available nationwide. Is this just me??

Hoju, they seem to be phasing out the original site and posting more on ShopMetrics. There are a bunch loaded there now.

Hotel and cruise type shops are very detailed and come with a long list of client objectives. Don't fool yourself thinking it will be a good way to take a vacation (it is and it isn't). Unless you are very experienced those shops will take you a long time to complete and leave you feeling a bit stressed. The first one is difficult because you do not know what to expect.

If you can bring guests it's great for your guests. They go off and do things while you observe and write and observe and write.
