Time Share Mystery Shops

Can anyone please tell me how the time share mystery shops work. Thank you.

You get a 1-7 night stay for free. You must attend a long, fairly high pressure sales event and may be using a mini-digital voice recorder (supplied by the MSC) to record the conversation. If the sales pitch includes giving attendees gifts, you get to keep the gifts (I once got a $100 casino voucher that I was able to turn into cash at the casino next door.) The reports are fair for the pay and perks.

Personally I'd love to do a timeshare shop but I have no idea who does them. I can handle the high pressure sales so it would be a fun shop for me. Not for everyone though.

Thank you. It did not say anything about paying for the hotel, just an $80.00 dinner reimbursement. I e-mailed and left a message for Intellishop, but have not heard back. Do you think they would pay for the resort stay too?

I apologize in advance if I am sounding redundant, but I don't want to except the shop for it's details and find out we would have to pay for a resort stay when we don't have the money and then have to cancel on them.

Usually, the resort stay is included. Are you certain that this is a time share shop, or could it just be a hotel dinner shop?

BTW, some tome shares do not have a place to put you up on site, so you get a night or two in a local hotel. Time to get more details, I think.

It is a time share shop. I meant resort, not hotel. Yes, I will just wait to talk to them on Monday so I feel more comfortable hearing the details from them before I apply for the shop.

To clarify: some time share shops put you up in a nearby hotel, but you are not reporting on the hotel stay. They then do the sales presentation and tour at the site of the timeshare units that they are selling.
