Prohibited from doing hotel/motel shops?

I am completing a questionnaire for potential mystery shoppers. There is a list of industries, and I am asked if I, a relative, or close friend have worked in any of them within the past two years. In early 2014, I was a maid at a hotel for three weeks. Even though it was only three weeks, does that mean i am excluded from hotel/motel shops? Also, I am aware that it takes a lot more experience to be qualified for hotel/motel shops.

Thanks for reading.

Not at all. If you worked for Hilton you might be eliminated from Hilton shops, but that would only be for the two year window they are asking about so mid 2016 you should be eligible for that chain. You might be excluded from the particular location where you worked for longer than that. Overall 'hospitality industry experience' is considered a good background for hotel/motel shops. Of course 3 weeks is not particularly extensive, but it is more experience than many hotel/motel shoppers had before their first hotel/motel shop.

Because of the more extensive observations and reports required for hotel/motel shops, I would encourage you to start with simpler shops with only one or two interactions required and work up to the hotel/motel shops as you get more comfortable with report writing.
