Upc codes

Can anyone tell me how to find out what a product is by using the UPC code ?Gigwalk has a few jobs I'd like to pick up but they are only giving the UPc and I have no idea what the product is ! New here so thank you for the help !

When I'm looking for cosmetics I go to Amazon.com and type upc (numbers)

The problem with field agent is they leave out part of the upc, your guess is as good as mine as to why
