Depends on the company and client. If the don't specify in the shop guidelines, ask. There are freebie programs on the web if you need to convert from one format to another to submit the file.

MP3 might be your best bet. I work as an audio engineer in my other job. (both in studio and concert mixing) If you need help, give me a buzz.
