Hello everyone, I am writing this message to introduce myself. My name is Iris Jones, I am married for 26 years to my wonderful husband. I have two kids, a son and daughter. I have previously performed many mystery shops for various mystery shopping companies. The last shop I performed for these companies was in 2007. After working with the mystery shopping companies I started a little catering business and attended college. I miss mystery shopping and would like to start some consumer evaluating again.

I'm really excited about this forum because I have some questions regarding mystery shopping for hotel hospitality, cruises, and spas. It would be awesome if I could get some feedback on shops of this nature.

Hi,
Coyle is one company that does the kinds of mystery shops you are looking for. They expect high standards from their shoppers. They are not going to hand you a cruise right off the bat but they do have telephone, hotel, restaurant shops as well.
I would recommend sigining up with them and doing some of their telephone shops to get started.
There are some posts about Coyle in the 'Mystery Shopping Company Discussion' section. A link to this section can be found at the bottom of this page on the left hand side.

I have read materials from Coyle that they expect 7-10 completed restaurant shops from them (with near perfect scores) before you can be assigned a hotel. Of course, there is exceptions for everything. I don't think that is too bad! Just wanted you to know it wouldn't happen off the bat.

Hello all. I just signed up for Shadow Shopper and Googled info on Gold Membership and found this site. How wonderful!! I'm in Melbourne, FL and would like to research the best secret shopper companies. Also, if you've belonged to Shadow Shopper, is the paid Gold membership worth it? This sounds like such fun, very interesting, and I'd love knowing more about the genre.

I signed up with Shadow Shoppers but only for the free trial program. If I get any successful shopping info on their gold program I will post the information.
