new here

Hello my name is Patrick Larkins. I'm new to the forum but have been a mystery shopper for about 5 years. I'm not certified but if I was to get certified would that increase the pay on certain shops or does that mean that I would get more shops? Just wondering because I already get tons of emails for the mystery shopping companies that I signed up for. Thank you and have a great day everybody.

Welcome to the Board! Certification means nothing to me. I stay covered up with jobs!...smiling smiley

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
Hello and welcome. I am certified both silver and gold and I want to address your question. Since you have been shopping for five years and you already have ample work, I don't see any reason for you to certify. Yes, you might be able to pick up some additional work but that won't make any difference; you can only do so much anyway. After five years you are running on your reputation, and your reputation is what matters.

In reference to CORI they sent me 2 USPS money orders and a short letter. I have a career in retail and all the signs point to a scam. Torn it up and will always investigate before I accept any assignment. Thanks to your wonderful work and other members reporting this situation. Keep up the good work
Those did not come from Corporate Research International, or CORI. It has become common for the crooks to use the names of real mystery shopping companies to make their scam offers appear more legitimate.
