Hi.. Im extra new to the secret shopper experience, I haven't been on any schedulingbut I am looking forward to start soon. I'm currently looking into joining shadowshopper as my base company. I've looked at reviews from the BBB and random online reviews. Just wondering has anyone ever joined with shadowshopper and how was their experience?
I joined the free version and soon deactivated myself. The list at the bottom of this page - Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies is free and is a great place to start. Register with companies and see what they offer in your area. Remember that jobs get posted and snapped up so you have to keep checking to learn what they have.
Hi Shoppers,I'm perhaps the most recent one registered just today..I need to know about the jobs offered and whether they are legitimate or scam jobs and how to get these jobs and whether I have to pay money for them or not...Best Regards from peaceangel

Hello and welcome, Peaceangel!
Rule #1 of Mystery Shopping is never pay money to shop, and never cash an unsolicited check from a company offering to send you funds up front. That's the biggest scam out there.
Rule #2 is that Mystery Shopping is a versatile business, and is different for everyone, so you may have to dabble in a wide range of areas to zero in on what is best for you. I like doing apartments, bar integrity, and nice restaurants, and usually steer clear of banks and gas stations. Many people are the exact opposite.

It's not a scam. But it is just not necessary. The list in blue at the bottom of this page has many legitimate mystery shopping companies. I signed up with them so I didn't need Shadow Shopper.
