Convergence Marketing aka Match Converge

The discussion on this company is over 2 years old so I am starting it up again. I have been contacted by them for an interview and I already work for 5 merchandising companies at different levels of work (some are just a couple of hours a month) but would like to add a few more - IF - they are flexible with times and due dates. None of this assign it and it is due 48 hours later baloney, or waiting for materials that never arrive on time and having the jobs show as late on my end.

No thanks to that type of work.

Anybody have some updated feedback on them ? I am also posting about ATA in another thread.

The bulk of their assignments are cosmetic resets that happen twice a year. You can get a lot of hours at that time if you are in an area where there are a lot of stores.
Other than that there is some project work. Dates ranges depend on the client needs. Some have a date range of a week and some are certain days.
Keep in mind that with cosmetic resets they start at 8AM and they end when they are done smiling smiley
Yes there are times that you will have to wait for materials to arrive (pretty common in merchandising) and there have been times that assignment due dates are changed.
Thanks, I just had a phone interview them and he explained that the resets are heavy in summer and in January/February. I received an email message that I am hired ( I signed on for only surge work with the option to accept cosmetic resets as desired). Funny thing though, they never quoted me a compensation rate during the initial conversation or in writing so I am waiting to hear back before I go through all the paperwork filing (not doing it for $9 an hour).

This will be the 10th Merchandising company I am working for - it takes that many to get up to 20-30 hrs a week worth of work. I also work for the USDA doing store audits but that work sometimes dries up for months at a time ... sigh.
Update - I signed on with Match Converge and have been assigned a few things. So far so good, nothing complicated and not too demanding either. I nice compliment to my other companies as they have work in Kohls and Walmart that I am already working in.
