Looking for Merchandising companies

I am new to the MysteryShopForum. I have done mystery shopping and some merchandising resets . I am looking to earn some extra money in December doing a route of merchandising in Southern Ca . Does anyone know any good companies have openings for this as an Independent Contractor?

You will get emails if companies are looking for workers in your area.
Another option is the who are you working for thread in this forum topic.

Hope this helps, December work is probably already assigned for most companies but there still may be openings.

Jumping,
The odds of finding merchandising work at this time of year is difficult if you aren't already with the company. Since the fact is these companies want/need a proven merchandiser in the field due to the Christmas rush, they don't want a new person in the field who doesn't know their way of doing things.

If you are serious about entering the merchandising world, I recommend finding which companies operate in your country, and starting sending apps out in 2016.
January/ February will be big with cosmetic resets. I have heard from a few already. I don't do them anymore, but, they usually will hire a newbie. One way to get your feet wet.
I will be looking for some Merchandising gigs at the start of the year. Merchandising, Audits, resets, inventory are all things I like to do. I would like to get everyone's thoughts on who, overall, are the better companies to work for in terms of workload, communication & pay.
The short answer is who won the contracts for what. It is the contact change over time. Experience is a huge deciding factor along with market for wages. I have a nuisance job that is a solo job in my market, the company pays $17.00 per hour, but , it is the only store and the only contract they have in the area. So check Indeed, World Alliance and Craigslist to see who has work in your area. Then check out the forum about your picks. Good luck.
Try Survey.com. Really genuine people, really good work and great money. It's easy and they work with your route and schedule. I enjoyed working with them so much, I eventually started working full-time. I would be more than happy to help anyone!

I went to the survey.com website and it looks like they only need people in WI. Am I missing something?
