Applebee's

I finally found this restaurant and have a shop scheduled for Monday!! It is a lunch shop with reimbursement of $25. I am so very happy.

I have wanted to shop this place for years!!!

Hmmm.. I've been doing Applebee's for a few years and the company has more than one word. I guess they are shopped by more than one company depending on region.

They must be. I get notices from one MSC regarding Applebee's, but they're locations in Michigan, none for Ohio. =P

They are shopped by more than one company and I don't think they are shopped in all areas.

Too bad,I am getting tired of shopping the same restaurants over and over. Applebees would be a change of pace as would Chili's.

I certainly miss the shops I did for Capital Grill

I've never seen Capital Grill, or not that I remember. Would love to find that one.

AHA..after looking closely at Google for the restaurant, I figured it out.

I know we all took the sacred oath about not revealing which MSC shops what accounts. Believe me, they all know.

Figure it out. If you own a MSC and want to expand, how do you do it? Ans: You go after others' accounts. How do you know what they have? Easy. You join each MSC as a shopper and learn their account names, rates, frequencies, locations and everything else from their job boards.

We are guarding a non-secret.

So... where do I go for a Chile's shop? LOL

Who does A'Bs? There are a couple in my region. I would be curious to know if they are shopped. I am in New York. TY.

All the Applebees in NYC and the surrounding counties are not shopped. The franchise holder is Apple Metro of Westchester County. Owner's name is Zane Tankel who has been covered in the various media endlessly.

I do BJ's in NorCal(get your mind out of the gutter)for $25. Get lunch and a sample of their beer.

I do Applebee's all the time. In fact, it was my very first shop, and I did one just last night, and probably 75 or more inbetween. (smile)

I did not do well. I ordered steak and shrimp .. my friend had steak. I should have ordered one steak and 1 chicken. They did accept the shop but gave me reminders for next time. I foudn the shop to be difficult to report. They asked the same questions over and over. There is just so much you can say about the service. They wanted 5-7 sentences for each section that I had just answered questions on.

Thanks for the PM. They (MSC) still do not d anything in my area. I was waiting and watching. I updated my profile so next time I am vacationing I am going to check out one or more of there shops.

Lucky, it does seem extremely long and tedious, but if you keep doing them, eventually you can practically do them in your sleep. Getting the manager's name is always the tough one for me.

The manager was cleaning a table right next to us. She smiled and was very friendly...chatting about the holidays etc. I just could not see her name tag. I finally saw her name. I had to write the timings down on a napkin. Next time I will do much better...you are right 57carol. I got an email from the editor and she made some suggestions.

raregold, whether disclosed in a PM or on open forum, revealing the clients of a MSP is a violation of the ICA we sign for most MSPs. In addition, Applebee's is shopped by more than one MSP, depending on location, and it is not shopped in some regions.

I have been trying to find Applebees on & off for a couple of years, No luck..

No one told me about how to shop Applebee's and I asked for over 5 years. I finally just found it. Keep signing up with companies..

I have done 2 of these shops and amn not impressed. I think they are on the difficult side. I am sitting thru my lunch making notations the whole time. I cannot order what I want due to diet restrictions. I am glad they change their menu every so often.

Applebees IS shopped in the ny metro region, and has been for as long as I can remember, it's been with the same msc. You have to remember that there is multiple companies invovled. Applebees is a franchise, so a large franchise owner, such as the one in NY region, uses xyz msc, while a large franchise owner in California uses abc msc. Then corporate may use a different msc that does shops nationwide.

This applies to many restaurant companies, not just applebees. So you have the franchise owner doing shops and then you have the corporate office doing shops.

I live close to the Indian reservation and have never seen a shop for them. Hmmmm.

I got an email offering me an extra lunch of dinner shop at Applebee's so I said yes.

Applebees & Chili's - haven't found those here in AZ yet!

Just mentioned to my husband on Sunday that it's been a long time since he and I stopped at Chili's!
