Editing jobs~ how to apply

I am currently working for one MSC as an editor/proofer and quite enjoy doing this. I have transcribed, edited and proofed transcription for 30 years so I have an eye for this and catch typos all the time.

I am wondering if it would be reasonable to contact the MSC to see if they are hiring for this type of position. Does anyone know how to become an editor for a company? Not sure who to address the question to at a company.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If there are any MSC staff reading this, please feel free to also chime in here.

Thank you ~
