Gas Shops Gone?????

In the past I have received a few assignments for gas stations in my area. However they have seemed to become less and less. Anyone else noticed this trend?? Where has all the gas gone?? ;-)

without more details it's impossible to say which stations you are referring too. As far as I know all the major brands are still with their respective msc's.

I find it hard to give more detail. I would love too, but with all the confidentiality agreements I just figure better safe then sorry. The shops were coming out in Mid month around the 15th but now I have no idea. I get lucky once in awhile and get 1 or 2.

I think that more people have figured out how easy they are if they have the right technology and are snapping them up at the lower rate(s).

With a tablet and wi-fi on site, they are a 30 minute commitment, photos included, at most.

The MSC I spoke with yesterday usually has dozens in Texas at this point in the month.

There were five (5!) left in the entire state of Texas yesterday.

I'm in Canada they go fast, and for almost nothing. Basically there is no shop fee but you are reimbursed for you gas. Only after about 7 shops you'll have a full tank. I can barely get 2 assignments never mind 7. Starting to think its not even worth it :-( They were my favorite shops.

I still do a lot of them in Kentucky. The pay is fair but they are easy to do and when you get several in one day it pays OK

I am still doing gas shops but I've found they keep changing MSCs. Right now one particular brand is on its third MSC in the last couple of years.

I suggest you just check the big MSCs and you'll probably find them on one of their job boards.

I recently did some of the gas shop where you buy $3 worth each station. But I have to drive such a distance to do a route, that the needle hardly has moved from
where it was when I started.

I have a ton of them on my list here, it was one of those where I found the body in the bushes.
