Found a good mystery shopping App for phone

It's called "ShopIt!" and takes notes , recordings and pictures. Time-stamps everything to the second and keeps a running list. The screen just looks like you're texting.  Really intuitive.

I love my iPhone, but had to work at concealing what I was doing.   This makes the basic data collecting inconspicuous, so I can focus more attention on details.  Makes filling out forms quicker because all the data is in one place.  Definitely paid for itself on the first shop.

So far I really like it.

Does it work for Droid phones? Does the information stay put? I have tried a couple of different timing apps and have more than once accidentally deleted all the info --- there was no way to retrieve the info either. I would like to find an app that saves the information until I intentionally delete it.

Grateful
I think it's just for iPhone. The data seems to "stay put" really well, and the app makes it hard to accidentally delete things. You can also email the text part of the data too, and pictures are automatically saved to the camera roll.
I can't find it for Android, which stinks. Sounds like it would be awesome to have.
great, thanks!! Now if Apple would only make it easier to rename your pics that would be AWESOME!

True! You can still access the pics from inside this app though, which keeps them associated with the specific 'shop'. The camera roll is just a good backup.
So, is it POSSIBLE to do a shop straight from your Iphone/Ipad if the pics are supposed to be named a certain way?

Oh - I see what you mean. That would be good to be able to rename them, but I think apple still makes that tough.

The camera on "shopit" is more for sneaky pics I think... There's no flash setting, so you can snap a photo of that burger while "texting" and not be obvious.
I like Evernote for many things... But it doesn't capture timings, and I find it hard to use with stealth. Good app, though.
Wow! Cool! Thanks for the info. I downloaded ShopIt right away. I find it very difficult to do multiple timings in a food shop. This is wonderful! Well worth the $2.99!!

I just did a search for "mystery shopping" in the app store. It was 9 or 10 down the list.
I must be looking at the wrong app. I found it on my phone but it is a shopping list! I must be looking at the wrong one.
