Has anyone done Trailer Checks?????

I'd like some feedback on Trailer checks for movie theaters. Has anyone conducted these before. I was offered "First showtime checks" and "Audience reaction checks" all in the same location. I've never done this before. I think the trailers usually run about 10-15 minutes and I have four different movies to check.

Any feedback or experiences on this one???

I have done them, but it was a bit different. I was assigned one movie to check. I make sure it is only playing on one screen before accepting. :-)

Mod, I have done many of these and have found them to be easy. Make sure that you understand the instructions. Sometimes they want all of the showings and other times just one. As you are viewing the trailers, watch the audience reaction. Is it positive or negative? Dee wanted you to make sure that it was only playing in one section because many times you are to check the first showing in each theater.
The audience usually has their fingers in their ears because the sound is pumped up in trailers. LOL.

Thanks Molittleton,

I actually had "First showtime checks" and it was in more than one auditorium. When I was required to call in the results from the theater (ha, ha) I explained the overlap to the rep. and he made it out to be not be such a big deal. One theater trailer was good enough.

Funny thing though, the movie staff was very nonchalant and I probably could have stayed to watch an entire movie for FREE and no one would have been the wiser. Naturally, I didn't but this was simple, easy money and I got a few sneak previews.

Thanks, again.
I do them every week. Had 3 theatres to do this week. But I love watching movies.
Debdream, are conducting these trailer checks with Certified or another company? I'm just curious which company you're getting all of these trailer checking assignments with. It's ok to list the company as long as their specific client isn't mentioned. I'm constantly looking for other companies aside from Certified to work on trailer checks for. Thanks!
