I sat down for some pizza tonight.....

My friend and I went to a pizza place (not a shop) and I realized, as soon as I sat down, that I would not have to:

Get the names of the Servers...

Check the restroom..

Check how long the pizza would take..

We enjoyed our dinner and later, as I pulled into the driveway, I realized I would not have to do a report on the pizza dinner smiling smiley

I appreciated a few hours "shop-free" dining (busy shop week)

Oh, my pizza was free because I had a gift card!

Has anyone shopped so much, that it feels "different" when you just go out to eat (no shop), like a normal person?

It hurts my heart to really pay $100 for a meal.

You spend a $100 on a meal?...winking smiley

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.
I thought I felt bad treating myself to KFC for $7 yesterday. (I have GOT to figure out what company shops them!)

But it is nice to not always be "on the clock".

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.

Absolutely! And it's not just dining assignments. I just got back from my favorite restaurant supply store -which I learned about while out on a prior assignment - and while I was there, I noted name tags and greetings and descriptions and time in line and and and...until I told myself to get a grip and to chill out.

I took some time off from non-stop mystery shopping and was back visiting family and was grocery shopping with my father when he started glancing at me oddly. I followed his gaze down to my hands, which were holding my cell phone. I was madly texting notes to myself about different interactions with employees! Ha! My dad took me home and fixed me a stiff drink after that, and told my mother I was not to do anything useful for the next few days because I needed some serious rest. I so love my dad! smiling smiley

Sunnydays, i thought you were going to tell us how bad Florida pizza is. Nothing like NY pizza no matter how many places in FL claim they have NY pizza.

I've only seen 2 places in Florida that come reasonably close and I've tried hundreds. One is in Kissimmee and one is outside of Daytona.

itsasecret - kfc is part of yum brands...

When I was paying (with the gift card) the cashier at Pizza Hut tonight, I found myself straining to read her name tag, the sun was glaring off it. Then, I stopped myself..... but..continued... because I wanted that name! lol..

I think that comes from our deep mind set, that no matter what, we need to get that name!...smiling smiley

While at the library today, I took a break and went to the restroom. While in there, I duly noted the number of sinks, checked the soap dispensers, and then looked in each of the stalls to make sure they all were clean and fully stocked. As I reached for my phone to put the information into Evernote, I realized none of it mattered at all, because I wasn't mystery shopping the library.

It might be time for a few days off.
