scheduler position email

So those wanting to be a scheduler the theme park one has an opening..... check your emails.... but at the bottom will give you a great idea of how underpriced these positions are! To be answering emails 6 - 8 times a day and available 8 am to 9 pm no thanks for the pay listed. At the bottom of the pay scale the per hour makes it a lot of work. But for those that keep asking worth reading.

Only answering 6-8 emails a day?I think that it would be a lot more than that. Unless this is really part time.

I believe it said to check your emails 6-8 times a day (and honestly to get the job done that might not be enough). I think it's a pretty realistic portrayal of a scheduler position. Without saying you are tied to your computer/laptop/smartphone and can't really ever be unaccessible; the email is letting you know that pretty clearly.

good luck with the person who takes that job.

Im not in love with the marketing tact that company takes.

As an example they offer around $50 for certain bowling jobs but you get no reinbursements.

After required purchases it basically eats most of the fee.

I wish companies would be more honest with their marketing.

They are not the only company that does this.

Sorry, It just rubs me the wrong way.

My email doesn't say that?

"The applicant will need to have a flexible schedule and be able to check emails and our web-based project management system 6-8 times daily or approximately every two hours and make and receive phone calls throughout the day."

It says answering emails every 2 hours.

It does mention..

"We offer competitive compensation based upon the number of projects assigned on a monthly basis (75-200+). Earnings potential is approximately $450 - $1,200 monthly "

Meaning they are paying roughly $6 for every job you can get a shopper to do.

With these reimbursement only type shops I would think the scheduler is in for a treat.

I would rather be paid $5 a shop and schedule for experienced/professional mystery shoppers.
I might be in the minority, but I like that company. Lots of stuff in my area in the summer.

However, would not apply for that position, unless pay advertised was at least double. At least! smiling smiley
Most of their jobs turn out to be just a free ticket into the event when you pay for all the required things and the 4 times paying for parking.... with time involved no thanks.
I'm registered with that company, but I've never done a shop for them.

After reading the requirements for the scheduler position, I don't think all of the work would be worth the pay they have listed in the email.
