Anyone upset when schedulers disappear?

I lost two of my favourite schedulers this week. The ones I contacted on a regular bases, laughed with, and received a lot of work from. I have no idea what happened. Now I have to establish a new connection with both companies.

I have only had this experience once when a MSC that I used to work for fired all of their schedulers and outsourced their jobs. It was a horrific experience and I still miss the schedulers because they were really nice.

It sucked when one of my favorite schedulers moved on. I had a pretty good gig going where I got to do a $27.00 grocery any time I applied for it. I lived in a fairly unpopulated area too, so they would drop the rotation. There are two locations within 25 miles of my house. I got to shop each one every 30 to 60 days. The new scheduler came on, and I couldn't get a shop to save my life. I finally discovered that she started using those shops to bribe people to do a different hard to fill shop. I stopped applying because I couldn't do the other shop due to my schedule.

Yes, she left ACL. =( I always tried to help with those restaurants whenever possible, and she was always great with bonuses and scheduling.

I guess it's part of the job

I hope the new contacts are just as nice.
