Schedulers who don't believe me drive me crazy!

I'm going to do a shop I've never done before, and it's got a lot of places to check. I read the Guidelines, which includes the target's website. The website had a lot of outdated information, so I called the location and got up-to-date information. I ended up with several questions.

I wrote the scheduler, asking 6 questions. She answered 2, and then wrote:

"I believe all of your questions about this are based on a different *location*." (I changed the type of shop to *location* so as not to give it away.)

It's obvious the scheduler did not look at the MSC's own Guidelines, which includes the target's website, otherwise she would have found the same discrepancies. Instead, she simply assumes that I looked at the wrong website and called the wrong location.

Grrrrr. Boy, was it hard to be civil in my reply.

Rant over. Still waiting to hear from scheduler.

NOTE: I'm not on the forum every day. If someone comments on my post, I might not reply right away. I've been a shopper since 1991. I've never done any work for a MS company in any other capacity.

Don't you hate it when you know the guidelines better than your scheduler, editor, or proofreader?

That tells me that you are a better shopper than that scheduler and possibly that MSC deserves. Think about moving on.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
Scheduler never wrote back before the shop. Decided to do the shop anyway and just muddle through the report as best as I could.

Got a 10 on the report, so the editor must have been satisfied with my workarounds.

Usually this MSC is better than this, plus, I want to get more of these high-paying shops. So I'll stick with them.

I had that happen to me once (as a shopper), my response to her "It's in the guidelines" was "can you please point me in the direction as to WHERE in the guidelines they are" her response (I was on live chat) "Can I email you in an hour or so".

Thank you smiling smiley
