Cricket (phone shop) has stopped chirping....

I received an email from my scheduler and the company saying DO NOT DO THIS SHOP. I completely understand what is going on but why am I receiving an email every day saying my shop is overdue? I emailed the scheduler days ago but he has not replied. Very frustrating!

Same thing with me. I had two shops, and I've received no fewer than 8 of these "overdue" emails.
I completed mine on the evening of 8/8. It is still pending validation. I'm a tad nervous. I better get paid!!
The "overdue" messages are automated. They will continue until the shop is removed from your inbox.

Lol that's okay. I didn't see the post above mine either. Neither one of mine has been credited. Neither has my daughter's.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about cancelling your service.

You can't cancel your service on the Cricket website. You must call 1-800-CRICKET. I've called three times and everyone I've talked to had thick accents. Combine this with the loud ruckus in the background and it's difficult to understand what they're saying. You will be on hold for a long time before speaking to a person. Then this person will tell you that you must speak with a "cancellation specialist" and you will be transferred again. Both reps will question you in detail as to why you want to cancel your service. Both will try to guilt you into staying. Their spiel borders on harassment.

The cancellation specialist will tell you he is taking you off "autopay" (if you're signed up for it, like I was). Double-check your account online after the phone call, because this guy did not do it. So, I had to call back and repeat the entire ordeal. Unfortunately I had 3 accounts to cancel, and it was a complete and utter nightmare.
Phoebe70 why would you cancel if you were getting free service credits for the next few months

My account was credited, but only for $120 which is not 3 months on a Smartphone.
I just wanted to put a warning out there for anyone that is planning on selling their phones on eBay when they are done. I have sold many phones on eBay without any problems whatsoever. Apparently things have changed. there are so many scams out there it's ridiculous. Buyers that join days before will bid on your phone right away, win the auction, pay, then claim the phone was damaged or not as described. When they send it back to you, they send an old broken phone, or an empty box. Since you can print postage online, they can put whatever they want for the weight. PayPal is notorious for siding with the buyer, even when it it's obvious it's a scam. Sorry this was so long, but I wanted to put that warning out there!
Okay, this will probably make me sound dumb, but here goes.

I can't figure out how to tell if a credit has been applied to my cricket account, and if so, how much. It shows that my current balance is $0. It also says "Future Charges 09/07/2013 ($66.38)" which is strange because the bill has been about $55 per month before now. I cannot find anywhere that indicates what the credit balance is.
I found it on my account page (Account Summary). Amount due was listed as zero and just below, there was the amount 120.00 in parenthesis under Future Charges.

The 66.38 on yours is the credit balance.

I actually wanted to be taken off autopay, which means that my service will be disconnected after I miss a payment. I don't want to keep having my credit card charged, so I immediately removed autopay.

Gotcha. So my credit will only cover 2 months' service. That stinks.
I think the credits are for the 3 months that were promised. The reason people are seeing 2 months plus a little extra in parenthesis is because Cricket already applied 1 months payment to your August bill automatically.

If you call Cricket and ask they will tell you the full amount that was credited. MCP did right by us.

In my case, one month's credit has already been applied. There is enough remaining credit for 1 month's service plus about $10. So in my case it really is only for 2 months service.

My daughter was not even credited for 2 months. Cricket did not apply anything to her August bill, because she already paid it. One of mine was credited for 2 months and the other one lacked about $5 for being a full 2 months.

If she already paid August won't she be reimbursed for it? They may have meant whatever gets you to 5 months service total. Could be 2 reimbursed months plus 3 credits or 3 reimbursed plus 2 credits.

I have 2 months reimbursed and 2 months credits.
Because people have different amounts and different situations it may be a timing issue based on when people did their shops. I'm just happy that MCP stood behind us and got us the credits.
I got credited just a little over two months worth for each phone (I'm doing two). I've been reimbursed for 3 months so far. So, I'll get 5 months free and I don't have to do any MSing for the last two months. I'm good with that.

No she paid her bill like 2 days after receiving the email not to do the shop.
