What is your favorite shop and which MSC is your favorite

Without linking the two and violating your I/C agreement, which shop do you grab no matter the pay because you like it so much? And which MSC do you like dealing with the most because of easy reports, quick pay, nice schedulers or whatever your criteria might be.

My favorite shop is BJ's Brewery. I had never even heard of it before mystery shopping but I grab those as quickly as they are posted and then arrange other shops around them. They rarely come with anything but reimbursement but I enjoy being able to have a good meal and know it will be reimbursed. Plus I earn points.

My favorite MSC is DJC. Not only do they have a high quality burger joint as a client, their scheduler Jeff is the nicest I have dealt with in the business and they are the fastest paying of any MSC.

I love BVs with TS. It's one of my favorite companies and I learn so much about businesses I previously knew nothing about. Unfortunately, all of the nearby shops are gone in a blink of an eye, so haven't done one in over a month and I really miss them.

I also love Second to None and CIMA. Like, Intellishop and Trend Source, they require a fair amount of narrative, but, I believe, pay fairly and offer interesting shops.

Maritz, when bonused, also gets top marks because their pay cycle is short and they seem like a fair-to-the-shopper MSC.

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
My favorite MSC is Customer Experience Experts. They do not require purchases for their shops so there in no out of pocket. They also pay 21 days from shop acceptance so I often get paid several times a month from them. The owner also fights to make sure the shops are accepted when the client wants to nit pick them to death. (One time I misspelled the reps name on a phone show. I did not know if it was Casey or KC...). Their schedulers are also nice and will work with me to set up routes.

Maritz is also good with the fast turn around on pay. Be careful on their shops though, some are not worth the time. I have done all the types they have in my area and I will not be doing some of them again due to the low pay for the amount of time involved.

My favorite shops are food shops and I have the waist line to prove it!
Almost forgot my other favorite company: Baird Group. All they do is medical and they pay fast. They reimburse the next day for any out of pocket expenses (which can be quite high) so I keep my cash flow in tact. Love the ladies there and think of them all as family.

I miss BJ's! When I lived in Portland, we had three of them. Then two of them closed. I'm not sure if the one on Jantzen Beach stayed open or not. I moved out of Portland though. They have awesome cheesy bread!

I love post office shops because I can mail stuff to my mum and get paid for it. I also love shopping Cash and Carry because I get a huge sirloin for wicked cheap.

I love Reality Check because I love collecting gift cards for Christmas presents!
You all might think I'm nuts, but.......I like doing gas station revealed audits. In the past, I liked doing car dealerships, but not now. They are much too time consuming for the fee.

The BJ’s at Jantzen Beach is still open and they have one in Hillsboro.

BJ’s is one of my favorites as well; the spicy meatball pizza is really good.

I enjoy bank and car dealership shops, just enjoy playing the part of someone who has money. My favorite company and the one I've been with for 18 years now is Maritz.

BJ's is one of my favorites...I do the bar audits and get 10 bucks + 25 reimbursement. I love Whole Foods and the MSC pays quickly, just love it. I used to enjoy Chanel shops, but these days driving is a PITA, so calling that quits.
I have mentioned my favorite companies in another thread, nothing new. Taking a break until the spring with
BJ's still in tack, but in another location, not L.A.

I really enjoy shopping for Mintel. They have some ongoing monthly projects that I do. They don't nitpick the shops, and they pay very quickly with a direct deposit to the bank
Non-food shops - My favs are definitely post offices that are bonused because no one wants to drive. I love to drive. Going to Sedona and Flagstaff on Tuesday and getting paid $76 plus gasoline allowance to go do four post office shops. Two B's and two C's. Car is already packed with the packages to send. I get to see the scenery and eat at the Hideaway in Sedona. Driving up with a friend so it will be a blessed day. Yippeeee.

Eating shops - I have several favorites. BJ's is one I like because I can go alone. My real favorite is Cheesecake Factory though. I love the eclectic food choices and my friends loveeeeeee to go with me.

I like Shoppers Critique because they are faithful to assign me lots of telephone shops and they are the kind I can do sitting in a restaurant using my IPad. By the time I eat my lunch, I've paid for it with the phone shops. lolol

Today I Will Choose Joy!

"Finally, whatever things are good, true, noble, lovely, of good report...if there be any virtue, if there be any praise...think on these things." ....It's a command, not a suggestion!
I like the Norms Restaurant shop because if it's bonused the fee is higher than the reimbursement. $25 vs $ 20 reimbursement.

I also like the Cheesecake even if it's only reimbursement. It's very easy and I do this at least once a month.

I also loved the gas mystery shops and revealed gas audits. I've done far locations as well as nightime and daytime shops.

Gold Certified
Shopping in San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles
Gas stations/revealed gas stations for sure.....that way I get my gas paid for, and don't spend a lot of money on shopping for things I would never had known I wanted if I hadn't been in the store. (I always come out of boutique and name brand retail shops with much more in purchases than in reimbursement!)
I have a fine restaurant and hotel MSC that I give my first priority. However, I have done most of their restaurants in my area and have to wait a year to redo any. I would like to find more fine restaurant and hotels MSCs.
Aveda (but have not seen one for a while and I'm out of shampoo!)

Cori (they pay weekly and shops bonus quickly)

My favorite is any shop with high pay and simple report! Add icing to that cake when I pay nothing out of pocket (or maybe $1)!
DJC is the bomb not only is Jeff amazing but the payment comes through days after you complete it, and yes....its for that Burger Joint!. Mercantile is second as I enjoy their bar audits, especially at the big restaurant for lunch. Great deal and great pay. NSS (National Shopping Service) is just amazing. They pay for my groceries here in Northern California and its well worth it. Not only that the schedulers are amazing. Shawna, Matt, and Alex (no longer there) and other past schedulers rock. Reality Check and their grocery store shops are awesome as well.
Anyone have any experience shopping at Giant Eagle?

I like well paying shops, but I will take less where there is food involved. I am getting to like supermarket shops (except for that damned bottom of the cart business; I can't figure the motivation for putting something down there when I just have two or three items in the cart), and I really like fine dining and casino work, but they always require two (or more!) persons on the shop and that is hard for us to do. I like hotel shops, but it has gotten harder with our two newish grandchildren and the dog. Overnights just don't work anymore.
Places I like doing shops: Whole Foods, Wawa, Five Guys, McDonalds, Subway, in no particular order.
Kind of shop I like best: Reward shops. They are the most fun.

Several people have mentioned DJC so I went and signed up with them. Job search brought up ZERO shops. I searched by country in US and Canada and not one job. Does this sound normal for them?

My sister recently signed up for it. She said they currently have 1 client and when you apply, they give you a list of the closest cities near you and you mark the ones that you are willing to travel to. They send you an email offering you a shop in your location when one shows up. She got hers the day after she signed up - so I also signed up earlier this week and received an email that day offereing a rotating location that is near me, so I accepted. They said they would send me an email a week before my shop with instructions. They don't use Sassie or any program like most of the MSC's.

As far as my favorite shop goes, I really like Lucille's BBQ the BEST. I believe they only have them in the Southern California and Las Vegas but they are one of the best BBQ restaraunts. The closest one to me is 5 miles away and there are 5 others within 20 miles of me. You have to wait 90 days (I think) between the same locations, so I am able to do about 1-2 a month and take advantage whenever I can. From the fresh squeeze lemonades to the sugar biscuits with apple butter to the entrees and the desserts, oh and the cocktails that are required at some shops, they are a MUST to try out if any of you ever are in the Southern California area!

I went searching for DJC and came up with the domain name for sale.

I really like the revealed's too. Particularly for GfK. Easy peasy. You don't have to worry about remembering all of your guidelines. You generally know exactly how long it will take. Nice and simple.

I keep seeing Trendsource emails for BV's but it looks like you can't complete anything for TS without a EIN?
