ATT new audits

I just received the new audits list form my state. I assume they had problems in completing the jobs, because now they give the audits away only in route. So if I want to do again the one that is in my town I have also to do other three audits, a route that total 320 miles!!! A lovely route to do 4 jobs for $19 each. At that point I go work for Caritas!

Good Evening,

I just noticed the ATT revealed audit shop that are paying $18.00 but you have to circuit which is a total of 8-10 shops per circuit. They pay can range from $144-$188 but once I looked at the routes the distance is between the routes is all over the place. I don't know who put the routes together but they surely did not fully calculate the distance from one location to another. I believe they need to also something towards the mileage. I guess they think the $144-$188 is grand enough.

NO WAY!!
Good Morning All,

I just wrote to one of the schedulers about the ATT reveal audit shops - Hopefully it will open their eyes a little more and if individuals map it out like I did you will be amazed at how many miles altogether for that low amout of money for route shops.

I need to bring to your attention something that you or the other schedulers may not realize. The AT&T Revealed routes shops are put at an price between $144-188 which would catch anyone eyes but the problem is how the routes are set-up with the distance between some of the stores are less than 5 miles apart to others being over 100 miles or more. I did the whole route just to see what the total mileage would come up to and it is 555 miles altogether and at one of the locations you will also have to pay tolls to get to the location. The amount for the shop alone does not pay for your gas. You guys will have a hard time keeping these shops at a route unless you reveal to the client they will need to up the shop amount plus pay a certain per cent for mileage.
I wroye to my scheduler too and her replied. He told me to be patient, soon they will be available as single shops.
I was thinking about picking up a route, too, but the distance between the two furthest ones, east to west, was about 70 miles, then another one way out of the way....

But, interestingly enough, I just re-checked the job board, and the circuit now consists of just three shops, two within a reasonable distance of each other, and the third not too far out of the way if you can pick up another shop in that area. I wonder if they had a problem getting one shopper to do the full, original circuit.

It must be their Philipinno staff. The same like the ones employed by the other MS company that call and say "But it pays $6 PLUS full reimbursement for your hamburger!"
I did one of these last month. It was a decent assignment. I was looking forward to doing more. This month I found them in routes and also realized they have a 180 day rotation! One every six months?
I have one nearby I am available for but its routed with another I cannot do since I did it last month. It just seems strange to me they have a stricter rotation than some restaurant shops.
Good Afternoon,

I went to check to see if by some chance they had updated some of the audits and "YES" they have and "NO" they stil have some out of the way routes. The one I could do by my way is in Largo MD and then the rest are way out in the middle of nowhere VA. I guess I will keep checking to see if they can get someone to really put in the time to map these routes out correctly.
Is it really beneficial for the MSC to put the shops out as routes no one wants, especially if the distances are ridiculous?
I doubled checked , the biggest issue is they are on a 180 day rotation. They are going to need a lot more auditors if you can only do a location every six months.
In my area they got broke up today and I was able to get one, but was told I cannot do the other since I was there last month.
How involved are these? How long does it take to do each one? I have never done a revealed audit before.
I am a newbie and will say this is the best assignment I have had since I started last month. The requirements are a simple certification test. You must dress business casual and have a digital camera.
You present an authorization letter , take about 12 pictures, ask the store manager a few questions. The report is simple and detailed.
Length of time? That depends, My first one took me an hour. I simply wanted to not make any mistakes. Plus the store was very busy and I didn't want to be rude to customers. I waited for them to move as to not get them in the photos.
Now that I have done these, with no customers in the way, I would say 30-40 minutes top.
I wish I could find more assignments like this but there are only two in my area. I would have to take a route and travel many miles to get more of these.
Thank you for filling me in. I wonder if there is a pixel requirement for the camera. Every digital camera we have owned breaks immediately so now I use my Flip video and my daughter's Ipad but neither take super-crisp photos.

Why in the world does a revealed audit require a rotation? I don't think I've seen a revealed audit with a rotation on it before.

Just one more thing about the project that sucks.

The job itself actually seems not too bad.

A lot of audits require a rotation. Since most are just two months, six does seem excessive.

Good Morning All,

I know we have been on this subject back and forth about these reveal audits. I would have thought that they would at least try and figure out the problem with the routes. I will say to some degree they have decided to cutdown some of the routes. I noticed that there is a route that has two shops for the pay of $36.00 but the problem is that the distance is 324 miles. I know for a fact that $36.00 is not going to help with the gas. Moving forward I noticed another route with 10 shops but it caugth my because it was less than five miles away from my house in MD then the rest of the route is in VA and the distance was 242 plus tolls. I wish we could help out the person who is setting these troutes because they truly have "NO" understanding of the distance. I believe they are looking at the zipcode an thinking that it is at least 5-10 mile distance but if they do like I did and go to Google Maps theymay rethink the routes. MAYBE???
Do they even do a mapquest or google maps search point-to-point on these audit routes before putting them together? I just checked the route "closest" to me, and it looks like they added stores. The distance west to east, closest to me to furthest from me, is almost 90 miles one way, and there are additionally two shops that are fairly near each other but out of the way of the others, and one that's not near any of the others (unless you consider 25 miles one way to do just that one "close by"winking smiley. There are 5 in the same area, but those are the furthest ones away and would be an all-day affair. To do all 10, it would take a minimum of two days, possibly two and a half, due to the drive times. And about 400 miles total distance. For $180? I don't think so.

I'd like to do one of these, as I never have before, but I'll wait to see if they break up the route toward the end of the month or offer a mileage bonus!

BirdyC - They are not getting the hint. Maybe if all of us that belong to this MSC sent them an email maybe they would catch on.
I see that some posters have communicated with schedulers on this, but are the rest of us e-mailing schedulers to point out the impossible logistics of these routes at the flat pay rate? I'm new to this, so I haven't because I'm still not 100% sure I can do this route, even if they paid for mileage. Or, I'd do the two that are in my immediate area but not the rest without a mileage bonus.

I have a "real" (LOL!) job that makes scheduling numerous shops around the same time very hard, but maybe I'll e-mail the scheduler on this route and see if any accommodations can be made....
