marketforce pizza shops

I just did my first one last night. Thought it was kind of a pain taking the required pics, but they turned out nicely and the pizza tasted great winking smiley..... so, of course, this morning I get the email from quality control. They are saying that my photos have a yellow or orange tint to them....hmmmm? They certainly look ok to me...in fact, I was quite proud of them. I'm wondering if this is because I didn't submit extra photos as was recommended in the directions. Either way, I did take extras and have submitted them. I am awaiting their response. Any one else have problems on their pizza shops?

Check the "white balance" setting on your camera. Incandescent bulbs can give a "warmer" look to pictures than regular daylight. You should be able to adjust the color with Photoshop or a similar program.

thank you for the tip. although I feel they looked fine, I did notice a difference when I applied the auto color when editing in Picasa.
I think it may be the company that is being shopped and their weirdo guidelines. I shopped that particular pizza chain when it was with another company. I did about a dozen of them with no issues and they then apparently got some updated guidelines from their client.......which resulted in negative feedback about the photos for the next 3 shops I did. (Said photos were almost identical to the previous versions....hmn...)

I take literally hundreds of photos each week, and have never had a complaint from any other company.

Won't do that chain anymore.....not worth the frustration or the required photo altering.
I have done many of these pizza shops for another MSC, and yes, the photos have to be just right. That is the client's mandate, not just the MSC's. I have found the easiest way to get great photos every time is to take the photos outside, in daylight. Just be sure the angle is correct, and whatever they want in the photo is in it, and anything they don't want is not. (No fingers, toes, faces, addresses, pets, etc.)

I use an i-phone (even though they do not recommend it) and have never had any rejections when taking the photos outdoors. I suggest doing that in the back yard out of view though, otherwise your neighbors may "Baker-Act" you due to what certainly would appear to the non-shopper as bizzare behavior!
That particular chain is also with another company (and another company, oh, and one other company). I haven't done one for Market Force but saw it the other day on the board and wondered if it was a competitor shop or a test or something, as the other big MSC that has it here I'm almost certain is not a competitor shop. Admittedly I'm assuming this because they shop all 3 chains in my area with identical instructions, but this chain is the only one that automatically knows if it's the location that serves my address or not, and the other 2 chains don't have that information. I gathered they knew this because they had access to the chain's delivery address database?
