Is anyone familiar with this scheduler?

I received this email today. There's no company name attached to the scheduler, and none of the usual reminder to sign up with name-of-MSC if you'd like to accept the shop. Here's the email:

I checked my archives and have an email from December in which she was trying to fill a different project for IPSOS. I would suggest contacting her and asking for an MSC name if you're concerned.
Thanks, I will do so. It went to my spam folder, and without a reference to a MSC, I was a little concerned about replying.
Feel free to ask anytime. Much better to be safe than sorry!

She is an independent scheduler. I emailed and asked who she was representing after a similar email and didn't receive a reply. Eventually I found out that the MSC and it may have been Sentry. I'm not sure where she is getting names because I wasn't registered with them. Another shopper knew of her and told me she was legit. A little more info on the emails would certainly help out.

Where do some email addresses originate?

Well, I've had schedulers send me emails where the ENTIRE LIST of shoppers receiving the message was visible after clicking on the "CC" link. Hundreds and hundreds of email addresses, one after another.

There is no excuse in 2014 to be so uneducated/uncaring about email privacy. These were big MSCs, too, not your mom-and-pop shops.

Those lists of shopper's private emails would be a gold mine for other schedulers trying to fill some of the difficult areas I travel to. I wonder if that's where some of my unsolicited emails originate....?
Could be. While rare, I have had the exact same thing happen and it should not happen at all.

I received an e-mail from a scheduler sometime last year to register with the MSC that she is working at. She stated in the e-mail that she got my e-mail address from a different MSC that she worked at in the past.
Scheduler and payroll personnel all have access to our information. As a Mystery Shopper, there is no such thing as privacy.
Also MSC do share information of shopper between them.
