Thanx Kristyn ...

My son, an only child, married a girl who is one of eight. She is the last to have gotten married. All her siblings have children that range in number (not age) from five to seven children. My son and daughter-in-law want to have five or six children. If you want that many grandchildren, I think you might have to have another child or two, or adopt!

Me too. I live in Indy and am also retired. I wonder if you are the one who gets all the shops I want? Do you do video shops?
I live in North Idaho. I love to drive. I mean really love to drive. When I get angry I drive, when its all nice and sunny I drive, I even like to drive in the snow, its like a relaxation too bad the surveys were not as relaxing.
I have been doing shops within a range of 350 miles if it pays well enough as of late just to drive in the sun.
I like to drive too. Especially on nice low 70's sunny or overcast days where I can put the top down.

Men are all alike... I teased Dad about 'the girls' (my three Shelties) going wild over the sight of him... he said, "Oh, *all* women do!" winking smiley

He should have been going wild of the sight of the 'girls'. That is such a pretty breed. What color are they?

If anyone wants to look at pretty shelties

Oh! Love that you posted that link... I follow them on Facebook!

The current girls: Possum (bi-blue), Lacey (tri-color), and Zoey (blue merle ~ *with* tan).
They're littermates... born here, loved from the moment they came out of their Momma... from my last litter. I used to breed and show Shelties... but then stuff happened and I couldn't afford to anymore. Breeding responsibly is *expensive* ~ and that's the only way I'll even *consider* doing it. Showing is very expensive, too. Hell, just regular veterinary stuff if expensive enough! smiling smiley

My dogs have always been my pets and very best-est friends ~ from the first and to the very end. And I've had a few rescues, too; all at the bridge now and very missed.

Note the very different blue coloring of the two sisters! Possum is very silvery-blue, Zoey is very steely-blue. If Zoey would ever hold still enough, and not always have to be in my lap when she sees the camera; I could get a photo that shows more of her ~ so that her very different and very dark blue coloring would show much better. I do have some, but they're from when she was just a baby and way to into playing (or nursing or snoozing) to notice the camera. smiling smiley
Photos are: Possum, then Lacey, then Zoey.

I think I'm in love with Lacey. The rest are cuties, but she is the perfect one in my mind. I am a sucker for tri colors
Storm, Turbo and Cissy said Possom, Lacey and Zoey are very pretty and look like nice doggies grinning smiley

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
Thank you guys!

Cindy, Lacey is my sister's and nephew's favorite, too! She's so very sweet and cuddly ~ with people, anyway; she can be a bit of a spitfire when playing with her sisters! She's the one on the bottom of the pack ranking, though. She's always a happy & smiling little girl.

Possum is *very* bossy, especially with the other dogs but sometimes tries with me, too! And territorial ~ she's the one who patrols the perimeter all the time, with Lacey following right behind and actually doing most of the woofing. She got her name because when she was born she had an all silvery-white face with a little pink nose and we joked about her looking like a baby possum... and she can be a love-bug when she wants to.

Zoey is the one who really made me believe in reincarnation. From lots of things I've read and watched in documentaries, I already pretty much did; but I think I experienced it with Zoey. Not as noticeably since she's been grown-up, but when she was a puppy, I swear to God she already knew me and had been here before. She did everything so much earlier than her littermates, already knew her way around the house, and would stare into my eyes for the longest time like she was glad to be back. She pretty much sticks to me like a little magnet.

ALL the girls pretty much worship their 'Grandpa'. They have a huge play-yard within our even huger back yard, so they can't get right up to the fences against the neighbor's properties. 'Grandpa' can't do yard work in certain parts of the yard when the girls are in their play-yard, because they just go nuts for him. Even if he comes in before they go out, they *know* he's been there, and get all excited sniffing through the fence. Dad really does like the dogs, but always does his curmudgeon act. winking smiley

I also have Luke, (blue) their father, (I just realized that reminds me of Star Wars!) who just turned 14; and their brothers Jack (blue) & Sawyer (tri)... they were born and named when 'Lost' was on, and I was a *so* into that. Their Momma Dog, Madilyn, sadly died a month before her 11th birthday when she got a sinus/nose tumor that spread to her brain. sad smiley
