Sandwiched Pizza

OK I just accepted a pizza shop that usually requires a bunch of photos, which has been annoying but usually it bonus' pretty well since people freak about the amount of required photos.

I just accepted it today (nice bonus) and was reading through the instructions....well they got rid of the whole side view...and replaced it with a SANDWICHED pic. So you flip over 4 slices and take a picture, then you cut each slice in half and sandwich them together and take a pic of each slice...so you are left with 4 normal slices and 4 sandwiched slices...

I do not know what they are trying to observe here, but this just seems ridiculous! I was going to have the boyfriend over for pizza but quickly stopped texting him once i saw this because its just messed up!

What are they trying to see with the sandwiched view?

Thats what I am wondering...Is this pizza company losing their mind? there are so many variables that go into it once you start to add the variables of what they used to CUT the pizza...the sharpness of the tool alone will change the picture.

I actually cancelled that shop when I saw the instructions. I've not done one before and I will never do one. I got totally confused about the numbers thing and gave up even though I was sitting in the parking lot getting ready to make the call. I don't have $16 to spend on dog food.

There is no fee in this area, just reimbursement up to $16. And they are pick up, not delivery.

I would not mind reimbursement only if there was something edible in the end. Plus, I did not realize it, but you could not order any toppings. Who the heck wants a mangled, cold cheese pizza? I think it is a ridiculous shop.

At least with the other one all I have to do is count pepperonis and take one photo. Plus I make $5 and get to eat a hot pizza in its natural state.
The MSC is encouraging people to pick up a regular (1-2 toppings) pizza shop and the cheese pizza shop at the same time. You can order them at the same time and they say this helps to disguise us as usually the MS'ers will order only one pizza. The pictures were kind of weird the first time but after that, they were just fine. Just another version of the normal pictures I am used to getting. As far as the pizza goes, I usually eat one to two pieces and let my teenager take the rest with his buddies so someone eats it at least. They are putting bonuses on the shops in my area (bonus to them means you get paid over the price of the pizza itself.) I won't do them for less than $5 "bonus" and that is if they in my area with no gas. I consider that to be the same as the old MSC was offering. So if I get two pizzas at the same time, I feed teenagers plus $10.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
Since the MSC was not named can you tell me what client you are talking about.

I just did a pizza shop today and took the flip 2 slices over picture.

I just checked the guidelines and that was correct for my shop.
The photo is to check thickness and doneness of the dough. I'm not sure which MSC is doing the shop you are talking about, since I'm sure the pizza brand you are shopping is the one that is usually with 2 or 3 companies and changes almost daily it seems like, but in the past you have had to do this. The one MSC I used to do this with required you to use a box cutter with a new blade. If you do that it really is quite easy to get a perfect cut and the view they are looking for. They are making sure the dough is cooked all the way in the center of the crust.
Do they want to compare the top and bottom sandwiched together to see if they are even?

Since the MC wasn't named I can't know for sure but I do believe this could be Papa John's... OH and by the way... he is losing his mind.

These shops are a bit invasive.

so you mean they only pay up to $16 for the cheese pizza and you have to pay for the rest from your own pocket?
I do not think i'll be doing any. I've been doing them pizza plus $16+ but I did not care or need the pizza.
No, what they are wanting is for someone to do two different shops at once - I did this yesterday. I did the standard toppings pizza where you just flip it over, and then I did the cheese pizza with all the cutting. Should get reimbursed for both pizzas and $10 ($5 bonus on each). We ate the regular one for dinner, and then my husband is taking the mangled cheese one to work for lunch for a couple of days. He had to reheat it anyway at work. I don't think I would do just the cheese one, it was too cold to eat right then, and wouldn't seem worth it.
It probably helps that we live literally a block away from Papa Johns but our pizzas always arrive super hot and fast.

If you prep the numbers ahead of time, the actual picture taking process goes by fast.

By the time I was done, the cheese pizza was still hot.

I did the regular and cheese pizza shop at the same time. $5 bonus on each.

Not sure if I will do them again... Uploading the pictures takes so stinking long...
Actually that is the original way they used to have on them report years and years ago. They are just going back to it.
A sandwiched pizza? Yuk!
