Online Video Training and Online Video Certification Testing

The IMSC is proud to announce “Online Video Training and Online Video Certification Testing” that you can do at your own home. So for those who cannot attend the live training at the IMSC conferences, you now have another option. You will be provided a link to view the video training in your own home at your own pace for 30 days.

The video training cost $75.00 for the full training and $50.00 for the equipment hands on only portion of the training. Your instructor is me (Servanne!) and it is the same training I give at the IMSC conferences, complete with her experience of thousands of successful video mystery shops and of course the humor that only she can provide.

The online video training and test are comprehensive. Once you pass the test with 90% or higher, you will receive an IMSC Video training certification code. If you do not pass the test and you have paid for the IMSC video training video, I will help you understand the questions you have missed and you will be provided with a second test at no cost. One test will be free to all IMSC members. Non IMSC member cost for the test will be $25.00. Please allow up to five business days for test results.

Both the training and test will launch Monday, March 31st, 2014.

The video mystery shopping training is a two-part educational tutorial. First, I go over the details for basic scenarios, how to get the jobs, where to find jobs, what to do in case something goes wrong, reasons the shop might be rejected, and the keys to successful video shop, etc. The second part is all about the equipment. We go over the video camera, all the buttons on the camera, common troubleshooting issues, how to wear your camera, different scenarios and how to position your body, the technical aspects of uploading the videos, etc. It is a 3 1/2 hours training minimum. And that is without interruptions or questions.

After you view the certification video I am more than happy and available to answer your questions via phone or email. The goal is to get you 100% ready to go out and do your first shop after you have gone through the training and the certification test. The training is intense and the test is even more intense, but it will really get you prepared for 99% of the situations out in the field. There is of course that 1% left that even experienced video shoppers will never be ready for: earthquakes, tornadoes (even though those are covered in the training!), medical emergencies etc.

I have seen Servanne doing other sorts of workshops. She is amazing!

@walesmaven You are so right about Servanne! She is awesome. However, I just don't think she can top one of her all-time best workshops of "Oh Please, Just Shut Up" that was performed in Chicago two years ago. One tough act to follow.
I forgot you were in on that one Eric. But then again, I couldn't see diddly through the tears of laughter. Were the words "Oh please" actually in there or was it Just Shut Up?
