iPad Receipt Download

You can take photos of the receipts with the iPad and then upload them as normal. Keep in mind one thing about every Apple product, they don't work with sites requiring Flash player and AFAIK you still can't get IE. Luckily the companies using Flash or requiring IE are few and far between. Steri/CORI may still require IE while mVentix and Shared Insight reports cannot be done without Flash.

Thanks LisaSTL. The MSPs do work with Apple, thank goodness!
It wasn't an option on iPad at one time but if you update your software frequently than you should be able to speak it.
For sites requiring Flash download PuffinBrowser from the app store and scanner pro for receipts. Both work great!
Thanks. Very good suggestions. I downloaded Scanner Pro and it works like a charm.
Personally I have been using safari and mercury browser(has flash) on my iPad to report most of my shops with no problem. I use Dropbox for all of my photos now, because even if something happens to the iPad your receipts are still stored online and you can access them from anywhere. It saves me having to email myself pictures. If you use an apple or an android smartphone, you can link your Dropbox account to that as well and those photos will also be available from anywhere. As for the actual receipts, once I take pictures of them I use my iPad cover itself to store them until I get then back to my desk. Hope this info helps you out and be safe on the road.

I have seen many people have problems with their ipads trying to submit shops in Prophet.

I have two Android tablets. Both work fine with Sassie. I have a lot of problems with Prophet.
Is anyone using the above mention apps or browsers on an iPad 2 wifi only running ios 5? (Or even 6 or 7) From what I can tell on the forums the iPad 2 won't be able to upload pics no matter what iOS.
I was /am hesitant to upgrade to iOS 6 (and now 7) because of widespread reported serious wifi connecting issues. If I don't have reliable wifi connectivity my pad is useless for what I'm using it for.

I've used my iPad 2 with iOS 6 and 7. I haven't noticed connectivity issues, but I have noticed typing lag. Yes, I think this would all be easier with an Android tablet, but buying one is not on the budget right now. Plus the iPad 2 screen is huge. Going back to a 5-7 inch screen is going to be a hard adjustment.
