My poor truck,

I am so glad I am getting a tune up after this week. I am putting 588 miles on the beast between 4/1 - 4/2. Then another 300 miles on 4/3. 4/4 has me doing 450 miles and 4/5 has me at only 250 miles. Sunday I let the mule rest.
What makes me chuckle though is that some people think it is impossible that I put 50k + miles on my truck in a year.

Anyone else putting in the miles?

Just lost trying to find a fire pit in a concrete jungle wishing it was a wooded glen...

I put in almost 13 hours of driving the past two days. This week, I'll be staying (relatively) close to home.

@gypsymonkey - When I have a busy month I could be averaging around 4 - 5K miles. I LOVE driving BTW.

If you do a lot of miles (I do) then download the 'Ride' app for your smartphone. You just have to install it and then check it every now and then as you get points for the miles and a gift card when you get a certain amount of points. I got a gift card last week and almost never even look at it.

I do 2000+ miles a month just driving my kids from activity to activity. I couldn't imagine adding those kinds of work numbers to that!

My odometer stopped at 299,999. Whenever I go in for an oil change, etc. They can't believe it either. LOL.

Yup, I'm a lightweight. Most of my routes are in the 200-250 mile range. I do about 20,000 miles a year, about half of that last year was for mystery shopping (my only full year of shopping so far).

Time to build a bigger bridge.
