And I think, too, it depends whether you are in a rural areas with bonuses (and the gas costs) v. a concentrated area where one can just drive just a few short miles (or blocks) from one area to another. In concentrated areas like mine, bonuses are small and rare due to the large number of shoppers in the area. Desperation calls from schedulers are less frequent here. I guess either way, and like any business, the hourly wages have to be calculated by distance, time spent in the store, in office costs and time spent in transit and on data input.
