Is $5 for making a call a good fee?

New to this board. I see there's a lot of good information

I found a company that's hiring people to listen to presentations and fill our consumer driven surveys, to see if it's effective.

They are paying $5 per survey you fill out but i'm wondering is $5 a good fee? Call takes about 10 minutes, survey 2 minutes and some less. I made $30+ calling today (they pay daily).

Just wondering if there's better. It's peaked my interests to see the money trickle into my paypal.

What's the name of the company?
What's good for one person is not good for another. It seems like you're quite happy with what you made. Personally, I don't make phone calls for $5.00.
I say if you feel it is a good use of time, then keep doing it. Sometimes I do phone calls for $5-$7, especially if I know I will be waiting for something or will have some down time. I personally have not seen simple phone call shops that pay more, although they may be out there.
I agree with the others. If you are happy with what you made then it is a good fee for you. I don't like to make phones calls so I wouldn't do. I only do one phone shop and that is because I do it to help a particular scheduler who gives me a particular shop when it gets bonused and she needs it completed. So when she is desperate for the phone shop I do it.
It's hard to argue with $5 for 12 minutes which equates to $30/hour. And the bonus is you don't have to get out of your jammies.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Am I the only one that thinks possibly the OP is attempting to recruit people for their own possibly scammy business?

One post only and no reply on this thread.

And then the possible slip of "fill OUR consumer driven surveys"

Things that make you go hmmmmmmm.

I think that was a typo of "fill OUT"

If you read it in context it appears to be a typo and the OP meant OUT. The fact they haven't responded is not at all suspicious. The post was made at 10:20 last night. There are definite patterns to when some members have time to visit and post. Many of them are busy during the day and only have time at night.

Well yes, I knew that they meant "out". But sometimes we type in error what we think unconsciously. :-)

I was just really just hmmmmming. It seems like an odd type of phone shop, listening to presentations and filling in consumer driven surveys.

I rejected a $15 phone shop last week that looked like it would take several hours to do. That is just me though as many people would jump all over earning $15 while in their jammies.
If the OP was trying to recruit people then making one post and not returning would not accomplish that goal at all. Or did a hundred of you PM the OP for a job???
SloMoONoMo~ Go for it ! If you are going to be at home making no money vs making 30 dollars, I would choose the 30 every day of the week. That is a tank of gas and about 400 miles in my Prius !

I used to do phone shops for $9 with Intellishop when I was a wee newbie. Phone shops make nervous for some odd reason, so I refuse to do them now. I would not do one for $5 unless I really needed $5. A job is a job and $5 is $5.
Whether $5 is good or not, depends entirely on how long it takes ~ including the report. Since you said it takes less than 15 minutes all told, that sounds pretty danged good.

Now if I wasn't such a nervous phone person, and could find phone shops like that. The only phone shops I seem to get emails for are really long/involved ones, or ones with subject matter that is entirely distasteful to me. And none of them pay that well ~ as well as $5 for a quarter hour ~ for the time involved. :/
