Zoo shop

Hi,

I had looked at this type of shop a few months ago but I never looked into it. I was wondering if anyone has done this type of shop? is the report hard with long narratives? how long will this shop take? I believe that it only reimburses for one admission and a few food purchases that are required. I am interested in it now because my wife loves the zoo and we have not been in a while so I thought this would not be such a bad idea. Any advice? Thanks

This may not be the same company I do them thru but for my company there is a flat fee that will cover all you need to spend money on and if you have any $$ left by spending prudently you can keep them. My zoo job does take quite a while to accomplish. You really do need to arrive at the latest mid morning to finish it. And the write up takes a while too but it is not difficult. I enjoy doing it once in a while and after finishing the required shopping you can use the rest of the day to stroll around and enjoy the zoo.
Thank you for your feedback sandyf. Would it be okay for me to share the msc that has this shop so that I could get feedback from a person who has done this specific shop before? I know that we cannot mention the client of the msc, so I would greatly appreciate anyone's help. Thanks
as was mentioned, it depends on the msc. the other msc pays you for going, reimburses you for the 3-4 food places and the admission fee. so when it is all said and done you may have spent $50 but made $80. I like this msc because it is short narratives, yes/no questions, and employee descriptions. 30 minute report tops.

Just lost trying to find a fire pit in a concrete jungle wishing it was a wooded glen...

if it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all
If it's for Amusement Advantage, I've heard those are way too much work for the reimbursement, and that you don't even get a fee. I've heard of people spending all day going back and forth to various food stands and didn't spend much time actually enjoying themselves. That's why I have yet to request such assignment.
Thanks everyone, this shop is for Bare International. Is this the msc that you are referring to gypsymonkey? I just wanted to see how much work I am looking at especially since I will not be making a big profit. I believe that the shop states that it pays $10 with a $10 bonus plus reimbursement for shop expenses of $25. Any advice or tips on this specific shop?
The shop I have done is not for Bare but for the other big company that does amusement parks. Yes it is work but I still enjoy it. The report takes time, definitely not 30 minutes as I said, but i find it easy to do.. I find that some of their jobs are more time consuming than others. I am in California. The zoo one the main issue is the size of the zoo and the difficulty to find the right path in the zoo to get somewhere. But you can find the vendors. So the time is involved in walking all over the large area of the zoo to get from place to place. As I said the money is enough to cover.. I have been to a few venues where most of what you have to find is moving carts and these can get very difficult to locate so I avoid those shops if there are more than one moving cart or exhibit to review. Some days the exhibit is not there at all and it takes all together too much time for me to look and look for it and finally ask someone about it to find it was not open today for some reason. If you are doing this job to make money I would not recommend it but if you are doing it to enjoy the venue and be able to buy some things including entry for two people, some food while you are there and a few small gifts like pencils you will come out ahead somewhat by exchanging your time for the entry and vendor fees.
