Rude Schedulers

Just wanted to throw a quick question out there; who are the rudest schedulers who you just dread to deal with?

I'll start:

Kim Trolli from Summit Scheduling- Because I refused to take a shop from her where I would have to drive 170 miles round trip for $20, she suggested that I should deactivate my profile with the MSC she schedules for; the MSC she schedules for is one I have been dealing with for over a year and completed a lot of shops with.

I emailed the MSC owner (because we speak on occasion and have always been on friendly terms) and she apologized and said she would handle it.

Summit wonders why I don't like dealing with them.

Whew, how did it escalate to her suggesting you should deactivate your profile?

She took over scheduling duties for this MSC in April and I noticed that she has an attitude toward shoppers and expects them to do shops for her for next to nothing.

Considering when I used to do bank shops for this MSC when I lived in the area of this bank, I more often than not received $30 for loan inquiries (was also assigned a cluster of them to make it more lucrative), $30 for account inquiry and $20 for teller shops.

I'm very hesitant to accept a shop from anybody at Summit Scheduling anymore.

I'm not a big fan of Summit. They can
be challenging to work with, to say the least.

Dante, it sounds like you're taking the monetary part or lack thereof, personally. I've found it helpful to remember, first and foremost, this is a business to the MSC (scheduling company) and to me.

Summit used to be excellent, I don't know what happened. The conclusion I have come to is some people should never be schedulers(same thing goes for mystery shopping though).

I do understand what you're saying, however, you can't expect someone to make a 170 mile round trip for $20. That's not realistic in any way. A person would lose money from the fuel expense alone.

I'm not going to name names. I'm just going to say he works on a Papa John's account and when I told him he literally could not pay me to eat there again because their food had made me sick (after five minutes of arguing), he said "but that was two months ago can't you do it again?" Tell you what, <firstnamelastname>, when YOU are the one vomiting up processed ketchup and cardboard for me, I'll do it again.

Also, in before anybody else mentions the offshore MarketForce schedulers. The ones in Georgia are absolute dolls and I adore them, but I won't even pick up for the offshore ones.

PapaJohn's uses ketchup on their pizza? Here I thought
their commercials advertising better ingredients, better
pizza were accurate. At least if they use ketchup they
should use Heinz.

Dante, I couldn't agree with you more. It's t-o-t-a-l-l-y insane! If the scheduler thinks it's reasonable, well, that when you terminate the conversation because you're obviously not dealing with a rational person.

Yes, the GA marketforce schedulers are the BEST! I love when they call me and have their numbers and names saved in my phone.
I have eluded to this several times on this forum. An unscrupulous independent scheduler. Her last name starts with a Z.
Not rude, but impossible to work with for another reason...
A Georgia MF scheduler called me last week and left a message, and when I returned the call, her voicemail had not been set up. Tried again later, same deal. Kind of impossible to work with if she doesn't answer and I can't leave a message.
A Reality Based Group scheduler emails several times a day. I tried replying yesterday, and tried again by emailing her directly from the address listed on the RBG website, but both times I received a bounceback saying that her inbox had exceeded its quota. Again, kind of impossible to work with if she doesn't maintain her lines of communication.
First initial t?

Linda and kathyC,

My one and only bad experience with a scheduler was with this person. I had to contact the MSC directly for help on a shop because she would not respond to my emails or calls. Got read the riot act afterwards. I still work with the MSC, and she doesn't.

My main scheduler at MF is in Georgia; I swear, if I had her address, I'd send her flowers!

I have seen that scheduler with multiple mystery shopping companies within a short time.
I have had great experiences with the initials TZ. I think....Wondering what's going on.
I've had great experiences with MF Georgia, terrible experiences from MF Cali and their foreign number. I never accept the Cali or foreign calls anymore ever since I had a scheduler hang up on me when I was trying to ask a question about a FF shop date they called about. Likewise with STN I've had great experiences and have found them to be especially helpful.

I wish MF would leave voice mails more often, though, most of the time I'm working and can't answer the phone and don't have the tendency to call back without a message of what something's about.

Nah Uh! The TX A Closer Look schedulers outshine all others! Lets hear it for the BEST schedulers!

DanteInOH, maybe I'm missing something but I don't understand why you have to deal with a rude scheduler. I just delete shops I don't want that come in email. Some schedulers will put my first name in an email as an enticement, but I learned that it was probably a program generating the emails and everyone got personalized emails when schedulers became desperate for shoppers. If a scheduler calls me, I usually let the call go to voice mail. If the shop sounds worthwhile I call them back. The messages they leave almost always say to "please call back if you're interested." I figure I don't owe them a call if I'm not interested.

Just a suggestion - If you are actually speaking with a rude scheduler on the phone and you don't want to do a shop, you could always say, "Let me check my calendar" and then tell the scheduler you're all booked up already for the dates they need the shops done. They can't argue or beg you if you're not free! I think it's unfortunate that you can't tell some schedulers that their shops are not worth what they're paying. I think they know that, to begin with. But they don't really want to hear it.

Same situation here, but far worse. The behavior was calculating and unscrupulous.

My one and only rude scheduler was Ben form hint the one with all the auto shops who was complaining about Texas flakes. On the other hand Kristyn from Informars who used to work with GFK is great on the phone.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

I never discuss how a shop is not worth it to me. This is business and it is my business why I can or cannot do a shop. I tell them I am fully booked. They cannot argue then.

I've been lucky. No one has been rude to me. I wouldn't stand for it if someone spoke to me in an improper way.

That's me. winking smiley
Strategic Reflections schedulers are all rude when it comes to why not accept my $10 shop. For the time and distance no.....
I also said you just called me THREE times and THREE emails in less than an hour..... No thanks for $10 on the far side of town for at least an hour tour and report.
They're also rude when you have to reschedule due to a snowstorm
