Business Verification Audits

Has anyone done one of these before? I'm doing one tomorrow but the MSC is closed today and I need to clarify something. If anyone is willing to assist me with my question I will send you a Private Message.

I sent you a private message and I think you responded. I can no longer access my private messages. I got a message that I needed a new tool to do it, then the tool would not install. This happened once before and I was able to bypass it but I couldn't this time.
Thanks to all for the responses.

I would appreciate any input, both pro and con regarding doing this type of audits. Also any "hints" on how to better/easier do them. Thank you all.

Barry, I have done many BVA's and I would say the following:

1. If using your digital camera, make sure to bring extra batteries.

2. Be polite to the office staff, as they will be more eager to help you, (in most cases).

3. Be prepared for interruptions, as you are going during a time where they are opened and must also conduct business. Most times they try to have the manager just for you, because you have made an appointment but things happen that can slow down your verification process.

4 "If" your target does NOT show up for the meeting, do the following to get paid: (it happened to me and I was paid in FULL).

Take a picture of the office or office door (if closed) take a picture of the hallway and surrounding area leading to the office. Go outside and take pictures of the building. Get a business card and if refused, you can grab a flyer or brochure (yes, it's okay because you need proof and the scheduler said the client is usually okay with you getting a business card or brochure at the location.)
Go out of your way to get the front desk clerks name. Mine would not give it to me (but I had already scoped her name tag out!) Be prepared for non-cooperation if you get there and your target is not there and you need to prove you were there. smiling smiley
