Wow, a new low for the blue and yellow gas station shops. They are paying $10 for staying at a location for an entire hour working. And looks like they are going, so the shoppers must see something that I don't. And in addition, there is writting reports.

The original offer went out as "Until the first customer with the Sunoco sticker was awarded, or one hour, whichever came first." It then got changed to one hour at each location and I know many shoppers dropped them like hot potatoes. I was going to do about 25 of them until they changed the time requirement.

Definitely not worth it now that I have full guidelines for one hour. I kept one only because my son runs cross country and it is right next to where I have to wait for him anyhow. I still feel somewhat foolish for keeping it, but won't back out at this point.

I was paid $15 an hour a few years ago.

I was going to shop the gas station. I had never shopped it before. I read the email not the guidelines. When I signed up and read the Guidelines I immediately canceled within minutes. The scheduler stated that the guidelines were in the email. I told her that they were not complete and canceled. She told me they were complete. I didn't see anything about taking pictures, staying the full hour, etc. She actually rated me on my profile.

I've scheduled my only one for this Wednesday, but I haven't received my materials yet. I e-mailed the scheduler this afternoon after my mail was delivered and have heard nothing from her. I refuse to try this over the holiday weekend because the station is at the beach where traffic will be bumper to bumper. I'm guessing this may be the reason they allowed almost two weeks before the deadline.

At that price you're making less than the guy standing next to you mopping the floor. Though, one could argue that he's actually working harder than you are.

We kept a couple of these after they changed, however, they were scheduled for July 1st and July 2nd and no materials were sent out.

Not scheduling for ANY company.

The scheduler got mad at me for canceling my shops today and tomorrow - even though I have not received the materials. She wanted me to pick a date before the end of July to reschedule. When I asked when the materials would be sent out, she said she couldn't say.

I said at this point,then better not to reschedule.
