Medicare Formal Event

I wanted to learn more about Medicare and what better way than to get paid for it too. I am wondering if anyone has done these and has any tips for me? thanks

I've done zillions and they're relatively easy, especially when you have an interest in the information. The best thing is that the agent gives you informational materials, on which you can (perfectly naturally) write notes.

Tips? Carefully read the guidelines and evaluation beforehand and listen closely....

I learned enough when I did about 30 of these a few years ago that since then I have saved thousands of dollars on my Meicare-related insurance.

I have done many of these Medicare shops but I would like to give one good piece of advice: In case your target never shows....

I had a target do a "no call, no show. He just never showed up! There were just a few people in the room, but with no materials on the table, no projector, nothing. So, I stood up and casually walked around, snapping pictures of the empty table and empty room. (it is now 10 minutes after the hour)

Luckily, a fellow attendee had a brochure of the meeting (with date and time) and I asked if I could have the paper? He said sure, he wasn't going to be attending anymore of these "no call-no show" meetings....lol... I talked with the server one more time to grab her name tag info and then went outside and casually took pictures of the restaurant.

I was paid in full

Moral of the story: Always assume "anything" can happen and make sure your cell phone camera is working properly.

I have not done any of them and I think this fall I am ready. I am not signed up with any companies that offer them. Since we are not mentioning the individual clients, can we get a list of companies?

Time to build a bigger bridge.

Hey thanks to those who have helped. Trendsource is the one company I cannot work for as it takes me an hour and way too much frustration to get each scan to fit their requirements so I was earning about 2 c an hour! Must be something about my computer set up and Trendsource as I have no trouble with any other company. I will check the other two companies and become senior competition for the west LA area!
