Disappearing MF shops

I am wondering if anyone else has noticed the shops on MF coming and going within the day. I check their boards a couple of times a day because there are certain shops I try for that go quickly. So I frequently check their boards throughout the day. Lately it seems as though strange things go on with the board. I will go on to check and there will be 96 postings, later it will be down to 11 postings and then the next day it will be way up. The McD's come and go. Many posted one day, later they disappear and then the next day they all reappear. I keep wondering what the heck is going on. Thoughts? Do you see this happening too? I know the Odd Guys shops have been posted way different lately. This week I can only see those that are due within the next 4-5 days.

My friend/co-worker and I are both shoppers. We can both be sitting on the MF website at the same time and have very different shops....neither of us are getting a complete list. We discovered this because there was a shop I did and am not able to do because of the dates available so I told her it was on the board and to go snag it. Well it wasn't on her MF job board, but now 5 hours later, it is still on mine. We emailed MF and got the response that they tailor the job listings for each shopper. So I am not seeing what she is seeing, and she isn't seeing what I am seeing. Ofcourse, we both get the fast food shops that no one want to do and a couple grocery stores though.
You're not alone, I see the exact same thing all the time with them. It's annoying to say the least.
I change my zip code to the next town/city and different shops show up and I have a 200 mile radius saved. More shops in MY area show up. Very strange indeed.
Yes, when "'Samantha" offers go out the jobs disappear off the job board for 22 hours.

Oh good you guys are seeing the same thing. I'm not crazy then. So if they are tailoring them to us how do they make that decision??
Same thing happening to me. I used to log on and see 200-300 shops. Now it is consistently between 2-3 to 80-90 shops. Unfortunately none of the non FF shops that I really like doing.
When Samantha sends me an email, I go to the website and see what the original fee is. The shop doesn't disappear for me. :O
Perhaps it's the "premium fee" emails that make them disappear. One of them does.

i am seeing the same thing happen. I like a car wash shop they have and havent seen it, then i got a call last week that they were trying to fill the shop. So i know they are out there just not on my list. I emailed them and received a message back saying we are not to be comparing lists because they are customized to the individual shopper...I would still like to know how they are customizing the shops....hmmmm MF....i wish i knew your magic smiling smiley

Seems a little strange though because the shops I am not seeing they now have to pay bonus' to get filled.

Yes, the Arch shops have been coming and going. Probably over 100 one day, then down to 2 the next day, then they came back. I didn't personally receive the big $3 bonus offer on any of them but maybe that's what it was.
Just speculating here ... I wonder if there are some shops they want to prevent self-assignment by inexperienced shoppers for some reason so they try to get "chosen" shoppers to take them with a bonus.

Seems like an odd thing to do unless they're trying to get experienced shoppers on certain shops.

Glad it's not just me. A shopping friend and I were talking about the dearth of shops the other day. I didn't check again to see if more came back.

I've hated their job board for over a year, ever since they "upgraded it" awhile back and now we have to play zip code roulette to find anything.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
mysteryshoppinggurl- that is the exact email we got. Verbatim. It makes sense that they would want more experienced shoppers to have better or more involved shops. I have been shopping longer than my friend, so that makes sense why I am seeing more high paying and luxury outlet shops than she is.
Same thing here - I used to have over 100 shops and now I am lucky if there are 10. Do not care too much as I am tired of the ever lowering fees with more questions. I used to do around 30 shops per month for them now it is down to around 10.
Market force is like that for me. I've mentioned it to the scheduler when they phone with a bonus that I would have taken it myself if the job had been on the board.
