Shopping Salaries - not for the weak hearted

Don't worry about offending people. Some are just offended all the time over anything. I enjoy reading about what others are doing and earning in this field because it's just more information under my belt.

I don't make much because I live in a rural area and don't get too many shops within an acceptable range. The nearest town is 10 miles away and the nearest city is 50. I am also a retail merchandiser, so I take shops that will be in the same area as the other jobs I am doing. I rarely have more than 5 mystery shops in a week.

It ranges for me drastically based on what shops I take and how busy I am with real life. I had one six month stretch where I averaged $3500 a month, and then I sort of burnt out and moseyed along at about $400 for almost two years.

Right now, I'm at about $1000 a month and I'm okay with that.

I don't pay for gas so I never factor that expense in, thankfully.
