I honestly don't know of the book you are looking for...though...wish I could help.
Oh I believe that smiling smiley but this is more of an apparently very involved speadsheet sort of system that I could really use. Ive downloaded a couple and tried to do my own but this with so many formulas etc already set up sounds great.
Yes, it is an Excel spreadsheet that was created specifically for MS'ers by a (I think) former MS'er. I bought it when I first started out in late 2011 and it is probably the best MS'ing investment that I made. I did not have the knowledge or patience to create one from scratch.

If you do a search on this forum (Mystery Shopping Bible) for the past year or longer, you will find a previous thread where the creator posted to the forum. You should be able to find her contact info in that thread.

OP - Did you just seriously write this .... cell the 'rights' ...?

Your MS career will be short if you can't spell the word sell.
Wow I did put cell. I was typing from my cell phone, am I excused? Lol I guess I was feeling 'off duty'. And thanks for the info 'shop', I will try that.
PS not as bad as my children's school librarian, whose final sentence of a letter sent home apparently was auto-corrected: "I aologize for the incontinence".
I bought it not too long ago. I contacted her through her FB page at [www.facebook.com]

I think the best bible is this forum. I can agree or disagree, which doesn't matter. We get the truth and experience.
Aaaaaah I even spelled apologize wrong above. That wasn't intentional. And I guess 'Mystery Shoppers Bible' does sound more like a guide or manual than the spreadsheet tool for keeping track of everything that it is. So as extremely helpful as this forum is, it isnt the same thing.
Thanks for the comments! My money went to quickly to follow through yet, as my shopping is currently my only income while waiting for a job to start, though I will continue to shop when it does. But I will try to contact her through the ways mentioned, thank you, and I did find one link to order online in the midst of many dead links, but want to be sure it is being 'monitored' still before using. I saw her profile on linkedin and saw this product was mentioned, but as something she did from (can't remember the first year) through 2012. Hopefully I can purchase but maybe not expect the level of support? I'll find out soon hopefully. Organizational issues are my biggest problem area in general, and the worst part is that the more effort and focus I put on it, the more mistakes I tend to make. It's very frustrating, and I really want to do this right. I'm hoping that using someone else's system instead of trying to developing my own as I tend to overdo and get stuck in pointless details, will help. Also I apologize, broke my laptop screen the other day, and to trying type and then proof-read everything on a tiny phone screen is difficult, as is hoping I don't "fat-finger" the screen.

I use simplicity. I keep a calendar next to me. I mark the shop, price, MSC and location. Mark X on personal days. If a shop comes up at the same general area, I put a slash and except the shop and put in the same information. I read my email daily. I keep a notebook for when I get paid, check my calendar to verify and mark date and payment. I don't shop video, which I know is more complicated. One or two days before I read the Guidelines, print the report and make special notes, place it in my folder that I take with me. DONE!

If I am at the airport (shopping only) I contact my regular schedulers, give them the date and ask for shops, I usually get them if available, all bonused.

I think if you are new you might tend to over due, you do need to develop your own. You do not have to apologize on this forum about misspelling, we're not editors.

Take on only what you can do tht makes you comfortable.
Shopper8,

While it's true that we are not editors, editors, schedulers, and even some MSC owners do read this forum. I would encourage all here to keep that in mind as what your spelling shows can reflect on you in so many unexpected ways.

Well I found there was no problem ordering from facebook. I finally figured out that if I went to the actual Facebook site and looked for Mystery Shopping Bible instead of my app I can see the store option. I tend to make thing more difficult than needed. Oh I think I said that. Thanks for all the advice. Anyway I want it now now now...am excited to see it! Lol...but I can be patient...
