Goodwill

I'm wondering if anyone has done a shop at Goodwill recently and can tell me how extensive is the report. There are several available in an area close to me but I don't want to take on more than I can successfully complete.
Thanks

Are you talking about the Job Connection shop that pays $20 or the Donate Shop/Interior Shop that pays $10/$10?
There are three different companies that I know of who shop Goodwill, so it depends on your location. The report in my area is not difficult.
I've done the 12/5 twice. Rather easy. 15-20 minutes onsite. 15-20 minute report - yes/no, explain your no's and, I think, a modest overall comment section.
I regularly do the 12/5 shop. Very easy. I recently got a new Nike jacket and a Hollister shirt for $4.98 smiling smiley

I LOVE their bargains! There is a new one down the street and it has nice, newer thingssmiling smiley
Love this shop, one of my favorites, whether donation or purchase. The report is easy, and could be short-changed. But, I prefer to lengthen my commentary, to strengthen being assigned the next shop I request. Goodwill is noteworthy on its own, donations may be tax deductible, the shop pays a decent fee.
I wish I knew which company did Goodwill--I know--no one can say--I'm not asking. I have never seen these shops with any of the companies I am signed up with. I am signed up with over 100 companies so it's not like I don't search enough. I live in Wisconsin and there aren't that many companies that work in my area. I love shopping at Goodwill and other second hand stores. I rarely buy an clothes in regular stores anymore and save a lot of money.
I'm not asking who does them, either. But, I'm curious. I've spotted a company who does them in Northern California. Are the Southern California Goodwills shopped, too?
I've only seen these in the small towns outside the urban area where I live, but have never seen them in the burbs or the city.
I know, I am signed up with about 30 companies and haven't seen this one. Guess I need to sign up with more. Are these done in the SE region?
I want to know why they do some locations and not others. I have one close to me but I have never seen it and I have done one that is about 14 miles away. Very easy report.
I noticed the donate/shop assignments came up in June. I'd not seen them before. I love them...very easy. I travel to small towns all over the area to do them. I also carry some bags of donations in my car so if I see one I'm ready to go.

I live in a suburb and they are done in my town. At least they were--I've done a few. Since I'm still not
getting Sassie e-mails, I don't know if they still are. The last one I did, I bought aluminum pie tins! LOL!

If you are seeing Goodwill stores within 40 miles of you, I would continue to sign up with more mystery shopping companies and you will get a hit! smiling smiley
I don't think they are shopped in my neck of the woods. We have several goodwill stores but have not seen them shopped. I am signed up with over 200 msps and I have seen them for other cities. Anyone know if they are shopped in the western NY area?

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I also enjoy these....and sometimes get a nice bonus to do them. And there has to be at least 2 diff companies as I do the $12/$5 one

My sister is always finding bargains at the GW Boutique as she calls it. Some of my favorite clothes come from there.
Be careful when working for this company. I had them not pay me once after I submitted my report. Apparently they said that I never did the shop. Even after proof of the receipt and the video footage from the store. This company can def. be sketchy to work for.
I am a total newbie and just did the Goodwill 12/5 shop as one of my first shopping experiences. I did it on a Saturday so the store was busy, but I was in and out in a jiffy and though I was unfamiliar with the process the paperwork did not take long. I got my report "graded" by Monday as well which I was really impressed by and left with a new pair of jeans. It even gave me a real good reason to get rid of outsized clothing. I would take another one of these in a second.
There are Salvation Army stores being shopped monthly, but I've not seen Goodwill.

These are always snatched up so quickly in my city. It's too bad; I really wanted to do one. I got an email notification around 11 this morning, and by 1 it was already gone!
