Can you return a non-reimbursed purchase?

If a shop requires a purchase that is not reimbursed, are you allowed to return it on your own time? For example. I just noticed that Hollister now requires a purchase, but does not reimburse. I would think you could return it...after all, you're free to "change my mind."

Yes, for this one you can return it. I have and will.

On any such questions, look closely at the shop instructions or guidelines to make sure it is not forbidden.

Flash is right on this one...I have seen that stipulation before. However, what if it doesn't specify one way or another?
If you're not being reimbursed (be sure the fee doesn't say "flat rate that includes reimbursement"winking smiley you should be able to return it, but you should verify with your scheduler if you're not sure.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I have seen shops where the guidelines say that you have to return, that you can't return, and that you can choose. They are all different. Usually on the ones where I get to choose, I will just get a cheaper item that I can use so I don't waste time returning the item and so I stay more incognito. Like in the teenage clothing stores, I will usually get a tank top for myself (to wear under workshirts when they are a little too short) or a tshirt for my son. Sometimes, I actually will spend the entire fee in the store or even a little more and put the item up for a gift.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
