Is "16 interactions" and evaluations the norm for Hotel shops?

You must have 16 interactions with each scenario and question given to you...Is this the norm for your recent hotel shops? This is a hotel /casino shop. The shopper pay is $75...

You will each have approximately 16 interactions where you will do the following:

1. Approach an available associate in the required department

2. Ask them a casual and common open ended question ...(more instructions but you get the idea)....

The reimbursement for the casino assignment includes Restaurant/Bar/Server Expenses and Tips. The XXXX Overnight Stay assignment includes 1 Night Hotel Rate/Resort Fee/Taxes, Restaurant/Bar/Server Expenses, and Tips.

Here's the thing: The client wants exact names and spelling of that name. So, if the guys name is Dominquoiz and you misspell his or any of the other names, your report will be questioned (which means the entire report will be in question--as quoted by the scheduler)..

If you do not correctly describe the associate, the same applies. We all know we have seen employees who have hair colors that are neither blonde nor light brown,...etc. but is this the norm for 16 interactions? How do you keep all the names, what they said and what they looked like, straight?

I've done mostly lower end chains like Super 8, Days Inn and Best Western. These larger hotel casino shops, not so much...

What do you think of the pay? How many interactions or observations are you normally required in a larger hotel shop?

The number of interactions is typical. Being told that the entire report would be in question over a misspelled name is pretty strange. I have very often had to give a name as "name tag obscured: name as pronounced might be: Jerusalem." I have never had such an answer questioned.

Who is the MSC? (Please do not also name the client.) That may help you get more useful answers to your question.

I will PM you their instructions about the name....smiling smiley
There was a time when 8 interactions was $75 and more for casinos and casino/hotel shops.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
The last one that I completed was around 20 interactions. Most were very quick though. The names are always hard. Try commenting on how unusual/pretty/etc it is so you can stare at the spelling.
