Shopping with a disability

Mystery Shopper Magazine is preparing a special issue on shoppers who have something out of the ordinary that affects their ability to perform shops. So far, we have a shopper with MS, one with night blindness, and one with no permanent address. I would like to get another one or two shoppers with a disability, or something ou of the ordinary, that affects how you perform your shops.

Right now I'm planning on this issue for August 25.

Please reply via a PM.

Thanks much,

James

How about that everybody in five counties knows my name? Just kidding. I wouldn't want an interview even if I did qualify. My husband is behind the times. He told someone that half the county knows me. I said, "And I know the other half."
Great idea.
There have been several shoppers who have posted about shopping after surgery or injury that yielded temporary disabilities. Perhaps they could lend their perspective.
Nice idea.

Although I don't have a disability. I can point out that a certain big box department store has had shops that require the shopper to perform the shop while riding one of those motorized carts for handicapped persons that are provided by the store. Anyone could get in the cart and perform those shops. Perhaps someone with such experience could contribute their observations to this issue.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
