I have nothing else to do...

I am used to doing long narratives. One shop report was sent back because it was too long. I shortened it the best I could and got it returned again because there was not enough information. I put back what I took out and it was accepted. The score was lowered for rewrites.

If you are talking about CSE they give the narrative to the company and use the yes no stuff for statistical analysis. That is why you must address each question in the narrative. Once I found out why I had to be redundant, I just accept it as part of the shop.
I won't do the GFK smartphone shops. Most of the sales people talk about 2-3 features. How many times do I repeat the comments about the cameras and waterproof case. I noticed that the latest emails claim that the form has been simplified. Good luck on that, I am not taking a shop just to see how the form has been shortened.
I have been sent on numerous smartphone shops with no phone numbers. Some of the locations are closed. I went to a HHGregg store and they no longer sell phones and GFK considers it a closed shop and only pays $3 after I drove 40 miles and reported the shop. It's not worth the time.
And their reports are another thing. The questions are redundant. How much of a narrative can you write on a waterproof case. And then they find every little detail to disapprove and not pay for the shops.
Well, I must be a very bad shopper then, as With the price of gas, I no longer except any shops are more then 30 to 45 mins away, one way. Shops they I can line up several on the route, I may go over it the pay is very good. After the number of years (started in 1994) I do not except any shops under $10.00. If they call and need something done that is past deadline I except for $10.00 with a $5.00 bonus.

Hay, I need to work it in, and I need the money and they need the work done to be able to keep their clients happy also.
The associate noted the age-restricted item, and asked for either my driver's license or state identification.

I took the bottle from my bar. It was full. I drank it all to block out the pain of redundancy. No worms were involved and I no longer am....

Nuts! over the 30-word count

Sometimes it reminds me of when I was in primary school and you had to write a 500 word essay on some asinine subject. I would just change the sentences around to have enough words. There are so many times that the narrative could be simple, short and give a good snapshot of what happened at the shop. To just write words does not make a lot of sense to me. However if they need to know that the associate made eye contact, smiled and asked me "how are you doing today?" I will give it to them.
I know how you feel as well. But hey, if that's what the MSC wants and is what they believe their client wants, that's what they'll get.
