Did anybody get the "Looking for a few good men" e-mail

I'm a little slow on the uptake today I guess. They apparently want you to go into a certain automotive service place (not a dealer) and tell them you just bought a certain model used car with a certain amount of miles. Then you are to say "you think it may need an oil change and new tires" and report on the quotes, sales presentation and evaluate the restroom. All while driving a different vehicle into the store. Is this the gist of how other people see this shop?

My most notable solicitation today was for a dog wash shop. Haven't seen that one. Seems like an odd scenario, but I suppose it's plausible for one round.

Most people would phone for that information, I suspect, rather than driving in, getting out of their car, using the restroom, etc.

What I did notice was that is read "A Few Good Men"; I guess that don't want a few good women.

For an automotive shop. .. maybe they don't. There's still a lot of prejudice in that industry.

I suppose I might as a regular customer do these things in person but it's not likely.

Oh *MAN*!!!!! *THAT* is the shop *I* want!!! smiling smiley

Does reimbursement cover the full service? Those can be pretty spendy. Is it a do-it-yourself dog wash, or a full-service one?

I don't have a dog, but I could use a cat wash shop! Stinkbutt needs a bath, but his claws are too sharp for me.

My brother takes his gigantic dog to a chain called "Dippity Dog". I believe that you can either go full or self service. Check them out and see if they are the one. If not, the likely suspect is one of the major pet supply stores.
I didn't pay much attention to it except to note that it was near central Phoenix, it's over 100 degrees outside, and I could not haul my dog 100 miles for a bath because I can't leave her in the car while I run other errands.

There were also two in Colorado. The email was from Goodwin, so I won't mention the name of the dog wash. It wasn't Dippity Dog, though, so the client and MSC are not both named in this thread.

My daughter has two chocolate labs, she decided to take them to one of the self-service places. (Usually she has them washed at a doggie place) She brought them both in and thought this will be easy. The first dog would not walk up the ramp for her, so she switched dogs. The second dog went up, but she couldn't get him in. She finally got the dog in and the older other dog barked continuously throughout the wash. Managed to get the other dog in. Neither dog would go under the dryer, so she went home with two soaking wet dogs, and vowed never again. My daughter only weighs about 110.

Sorry to deviate from the forum.
The only way I would do a shop like that at Bad365 was if an oil change reimbursement was included in the shop. I saw the shops at my favorite MSC and just giggled!
