Shopping downtime

Is there a downtime for mystery shopping? Is it slower during the holidays or during the winter? I have been shopping since April, and so far there are no shortage of jobs! I was just curious if there is ever a slow time of the year.

Where I am, it is busier during the winter but there is tons of work here year around.

I travel in a 100 mile radius frequently so my shop boards are always full. I have family here there and every where so it makes it easy for me to travel a few days here and a few days there.

I also call my schedulers regularly for jobs away from home. I have 7 or 8 that will make a day of good money for me when I call.

I also would like to say that the areas that I travel to may not have many shoppers as I sometimes get calls from my schedulers asking if I will be visiting any time during the month. They need the shops done.

I guess it would all depend on where you live, your travel habits and how much you shop as to how the boards run.

I have never seen a shortage of work. Some jobs are seasonal and only done in the summer some are only done in the winter. Some are weekend shops some are weekday shops. It depends on your area as to how much work you see its probably roughly the same number of jobs everywhere it is how quick they are taken. The good news is if you want a slow time your an IC and can take whatever time you want off. As far as not having enough work that depends on the shopper what area they live in and how far they are willing to travel.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

Actually, November and December are crazy busy early in the month becasue the schedulers are under pressure to complete and submit all of the month's jobs several days before each holiday. This compression makes for some frantic schedulers and shoppers and editors!

The good news is that you won't be dropped for taking a few weeks off when you need to.
