I beginning to see uber bonuses! For example, in my area, a $10.00 or $15.00 bonus is usually enough for me to stop and think and consider.

Try $50.00 for the gas station "customer loyalty" shop! Bestill my heart.

because it's a holiday weekend. Means will be busy.
Probably wont send enough cards, bonus will forget
to be paid. They will say you did 6 of them so thats 6
hours so its only 240 dollars instead of 360 since its 80
for 2 hours...and it's everyones favorite msc.

Who wants to bet t hey send the gift cards overnight but dont
choose the saturday delivery option so they dont arrive til
tuesday(mon a holiday)

Another email from them saying they are backup shops
and you will only do them if the original shopper cancelled...

and now they are not sending supplies you will give letter
to the winners saying they will be mailed their gift card
and will get double the amount.

intelli-shop has botched this project so bad.

Okay, the email, which I also received makes this sound like a solid business decision. Since we are both on the bench, let's see how this plays out.

You could say they botched them up and you would be right.

You could say that they opened their pocketbook more and that would be right.

You could be really cynical and say next month they will have them still on the board at perhaps even higher fees.

However you say it, it all says more $$$ and I'm liking it.

I also snagged some other well-bonused shops from other MSPs for this weekend and even left some on the boards. It's been an excellent month for bonuses even without the project referred to above.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut

@cubbiecat, I just applied as back up for one of them. The chances of the shopper flaking though are probably zero to none.

There are none in this area for this weekend because some goofball shopper and her daughter took them at the original fee thinking it would be fun to give away gift cards to people. HA! At all 6 locations we, uh I mean, they did, there was not a single winner to be had. So after having the shops resceduled four times for us to receive the materials, we just ended up sending them all back. We still got paid, but what a waste.

I went through that with a FF shop with prizes. They sent them to me by Fed Ex, signature required (I barely got home just as the driver was about to leave after not being able to leave the package) which had to cost a lot just for that, then of course they blew the shop so I sent them back. It makes sense to stop mailing them and cheaper to double the prize value than incur the shipping cost and the handling costs both directions given that very few ever earn the prizes.

They're lucky I happened to get home in time (I would normally have missed him by a few hours but he got delayed in another town that day) because the shop fee was not enough to justify my sitting around for four hours waiting for him to come so I could sign.

Time to build a bigger bridge.

I gave the shops some thought...maybe 30 seconds, and decided against them. Traffic around here is going to be a PITA this weekend [resort area, last weekend of summer]. Instead I picked up $85 to shoot a surprise engagement. Should take all of 30 minutes.

I'll leave it up to y'all's imagination whether the shoot is with a camera or a "license to kill..."
